How was the ship? Looking to go on NCL for the 1st time but keep seeing some negative reviews. Keep hearing they like to nickel and dime their customers a lot some people day the ship feel old out dated and the pool are small and always over crowded any of this true?
Seldom will my attention span allow me to sit through a 90 minute video but this was well worth it. I'm cruising on this ship this summer and this was incredibly informative. Thanks for posting!

Hi Danny. What are the differences/similarities between NCL and RCL? I'm particularly interested in the general ambience of each line. Also can you book cruises for people who live in the U.K?
I like everything about the except the pool area. It felt very cramped with all the people in a small area. And I'm comparing that to RC Explorer of the seas deck and NCL Sky's. Although smaller ships, I liked how open and more together it felt.
Otherwise, the breakaway is a really nice ship!
I just got back from the Breakaway a trip to Italy, Greece and Malta, the boat was worn looking, food was barely mediocre unless you paid for meals, I don't think I would cruise NCL's again.

am looking to go on NCL for the 1st time in August 2024 but the only option i see for the dates i have is on ''breakaway'' would you say this ship is good? built in 2013 and refurbished in 2020. all cruises i done have been with carnival just got off their newest ship celebration this month.

I’m scheduled to sail her this summer. Confusing b/c there are 3 similar venues. App says noodle bar is complimentary, raw bar and sushi bar are extra.
There are multiple Asian options. One is free (Shanghai Noodle Bar), but Wasabi (sushi bar) and Teppanyaki have a charge. We actually love the noodle bar, and the fact that it's complimentary, makes it even better.
Love these videos normally, but I find the background music intrusive (and slightly misplaced sometimes), makes them borderline unwatchable for me :(

I think they actually CLOSED the comedy club as part of cutbacks. It isn’t listed as a venue on the NCL web site. LMK if you can confirm - I’ll be sailing her this summer.
