Really, Kajak... :-) . Thank you Tush, the Big Chute is amazing! Really clever.
In Germany w have a Boat Bridge over a River for real big boats, another funny solution.
    Greetings from Germany

Very clever use by the engineers of different gradients to keep the boats level.
Just as an aside the River Severn in the UK is the longest river @ 220 miles and discharges at Bristol and is the largest water flow. Also known for a large 'Bore' at certain tides in the large Severn Estuary
The River Trent is about 185 miles and discharges into the North Sea at the Humber Estuary.
It always intrigues me how the UK names migrated with the early colonists to North America when I see so many names familiar to me over there. Its like they wanted to find new lands but take a piece of their homelands with them. Very brave and resourceful people.

Too cool. Have never seen anything like this before. We do it by flooding and draining locks. Glad you shot this!

Here's a short clip, Tush, of a ride down to the bottom on a friend's boat - it's a very interesting trip! czcams.com/video/6e9l2vj2BAU/video.html
