Haha.. i like the LP6k aloottttt. But no android made me pull my brake. RU6 have interference noise, especially using phone and streaming. Never tried on dap though, should be quite nice. I think you will love it. But I may consider the N3pro for the tube.. haha
Tried all the TOTL DAPs at Japan and bought ZX707. Perfect synergy with Monarch Mk2. Some DAPs may be better but I feel it's not worth the price for marginal improvement. I don't really use Amp as all of them tends to make the loud Pop noise when powered on.
I agree. The uncapped Japanese ZX707 is by far the best-sounding, most well-built DAP with good battery life for the money available today. One could get better sound quality in a DAP, but it will cost at least $1,000+ for minimal improvement. Or spend $3,000+ for a TotL DAP / combo like this video is showing.
Isn’t the idea of DAP to have it all, musically speaking, in one device ? I really don’t get it when you guys keep adding more and more gear to something that’s designed to be effective as is. The ZX707 might benefit from an addition but above the Zx707 I really think that it’s greediness over quality.
Oh? I had one unit from my store. Enleum is pretty fun, bring able to switch from warm to neutralish bright. I think Enleum out compete the C9 in almost every where, except C9 is muuuuuuch better if to be used as a preamp.
N7 is dead silent. C9 might have a little, especially in tube mode. But only noticeable on very sensitive iem. Not too obvious in daily use, unless u really listen to it. The interconnect cable matters alot. Tried PW Monile mk2, and wow, it does helps with the noise.
Good review 👍. Do you try remove any micro sd card in N7, Only use internal storage to play local play or streaming music. You will get best sound quality without any microsd . Because when you insert any microsd card in player Will cause EMI interference affect sound quality.

Would you recommend adding a RU6 to my Mest mk2 + LP6k setup to warm up the sound? Would it reduce the details though?
