+Javonte Morant I don't consider Deathstroke to belong to any one particular hero or group of heroes. I mean if you absolutely had to, I think his most frequently faced foe has actually been Green Arrow, but he's really been all over the board.
MarkieDood That's true but if you look up Deathstroke's history as a character, he was always described as the Arch Enemy of the Teen Titans.
The worst(best) villain is the one who doesn't want to kill you
so he the flash version of the joker and see the flash like his Batman that's is one Magnificent monster any villain who motives similar to the joker is my favorite villain of all time
If PZ went all-out, the Flash family would have their skulls split open. Heck, the Justice League and half of Archie Sonic characters get their skulls split open. Yeah, he's more powerful then you think.
Its more like the best villain is the one who can't kill you but still finds a way around that.

Reverse Flash has motives similar to the Joker, except more directed toward oen person than for himself. He wants to see the Flash at his best so he does his best to get the Flash stronger by any means necessary. No matter the reason, this always been central in any version of him. Its probably the worst time of villain out there, no matter how many times you stop him you;re only doing what he wants, then when you peak and think you done good enough, he rips out the rug from under you killing the very thing you fought so hard to protect. To get up and still be a hero after that is virtually crippling.
That's more likely Zoom (Hunter Zolomon).
I agree. Zoom's (Hunter Zolomon) motive is to make everyone better by pushing them to their breaking point. His view is that if they survive they will be better for the experience.
The Reverse Flash's (RF) motive is to ruin Barry's life. By altering history, RF is able to remove any happiness from Barry's life. As an example, at one point Barry had a best friend, but The RF deleted that friend from existence so Barry grew up friendless.
I wasn't really a flash fan, until watching the tv show. After watching it however, Reverse Flash is one of my favourite villians, most underrated in comics, alongside Deathstroke imo.

Professor Zoom (Eobard Thawne) does NOT have the lenses in his eye-holes of his mask. The mask is the same as the Flash, with just holes for where the eyes are. Also, in the earlier comics, his bolt was going down from right to left, like the Flash. (But changed later on newer comics). Zoom (Hunter Zolomon) has always had his bolt go down from Left to Right, and has the Lenses on the eye-holes of the mask.,
they're the same person. when Eobard was created he was Professor zoom. but after he got locked up hunter zoloman took the the name but dropped the professor. he just went by zoom. then after hunter zoloman is returned to being a cripple and his super villain days are over Eobard returns and uses the name reverse flash because hunter basically took his first name. some people still call him professor zoom because when they grew up that was his name but ever since hunter became a cripple he went by reverse flash. after flashpoint Eobard is gone because thomas wayne killed him. in new 52 Daniel west(black Wally's father) is the reverse flash. he was on the suicide squad and he died on a mission which was revealed in rebirth. in rebirth the button crossover is coming back and the comedians button was able to bring back Eobard just like how white Wally came back. Eobard came back and knew everything that happened in flashpoint and went after batman and after he beat the shit out of him he touched the button, disappeared and then came back all fucked up and died. Dr. Manhattan killed him. but Eobard will come back again in the button because he is confirmed to be the villain in the flash title after the button wraps up.
Zoom and Sinestro should get together and have a yellow pants party.
In The Flashpoint Paradox, I swear it sounded like the Flash was calling him "Thong"

Eobard probably has one of the craziest origins in comics simply because he himself has in-universe retconned his own backstory a couple of times, being a character so defined by time travel and all.

At last, a well explained origin of Professor Zoom.
Having not seen the flash tv show, I only hope they at least tie thawne's fanboyism into his motivations, cause I felt the idea that he was the flash's fan and that resulted in him going crazy was was very intteresting and unique.

Another fascinating fact about Zoom is that he doesn't have the classic super-speed, he "slows down the time" around him. I'm not sure exactly how that works (I'm not sure the authors knows exactly neither ^^), but with that he really is the reverse of Flash, his antithesis.

This origin telling is completely wrong! First off, he didn't ''dye the suit'' the suits colours changed during the experiment to stimulate the speed force particles. Secondly he didn't hate the Flash at first. He loved him. He admired him so much that he eventually wanted to become him, by murdering him and taking his place. He was a predatory stalker which is what made him so interesting. Eventually he realised if he killed The Flash he would not gain his powers. That is when he simply hated him and decided to simply make his life a misery instead.

You left out the part where he even got surgery to look just like barry and went back in time to meet him but he didn't go back far enough and found out that he was destined to become the flash archnemesis and went crazy because of it.

@@KidCthulhu82 flash #165 thawne took barry’s place and tried to marry iris. there are many origins to him, it isn’t just one. there’s even one where thawne is a dictator in the future but everybody is obsessed with the flash and ignore his tyranny so he goes back in time to kill flash. or even when he was a museum curator, and he grew obsessed with the flash but soon found out that his destiny was to become his enemy, which he found out from a paradox. it drove him mad and he turned into a criminal, keep in mind he was already unstable

Nitpick: Barry didn't mean to send him into the time void known as Limbo, he was attempting to use that time machine to return him to the 25th Century where it was hoped that he would receive the death penalty but the Time Machine was of Zoom's making and since Barry was operating it the failsafe brought the machine hurtling towards Limbo.

Professor Zoom is a better name than Reverse Flash.
Personally I disagree, it seems too corny, Dr, Prof and things in front of names always makes me feel like they are tacky, it works for a character that is specificaly a scientist, like Dr Hugo Strange.

Professor Zoom is what Eobard is commonly called in the comics. You can`t change that. Although its fine that changed it to Reverse Flash in the show.

This isn't the comics, it's the TV Show and every comic can be different and characters can have different names. That's why there are many versions of the same character. So Yes you CAN change that. That's the exact reason some people don't like certain comic arcs.

You'd think with Tom Cavanagh being canadian he'd know how to say his name right instead of calling him cavana. Because Professor Zoom and Zoom are 2 different characters. Professor Zoom is another name for the Reverse Flash whose real name is Eobard Thawne. But Zoom is Hunter Zolomon a completely different villain. And Zoom isn't Jay Garrick in the show. He had the real Jay held prisoner while he impersonated him.

The messed up thing is that while he can't kill the Flash the Flash can't kill him either because he is a paradox. Basically infinite versions of him exist within the timeline so even if you kill one of them another from the Future or the past will just pop up but somehow sharing the same memories because he kind of exists at every point in time simultaneously
They don't just represent the positive and negative speed force, they create them. With every step they run, they fuel their speed forces. The positive speed force didn't exist before Barry became the Flash, where-as Reverse Flash only created the negative speed force much later...
