Great to see you all together 😊 I have been following Craig and Aimee since your Bali videos, loved the Custard reno vlogs. Again can’t believe Americans don’t know what sausage rolls or pasties are 😂 I cook both these and more to sell at my local town market once a month, it funds my holiday travels. Not long returned from a quick taste of Europe trip with Croatia as an added extra, would love to return and see more one day, until then I will continue to follow your travels as well as your current companions as well 😊❤️

You should try a "proper" traditional Cornish pasty (which that did not look very much like). The West Cornwall Pasty Co are ok and have shops in various places in the UK (or at least England). Within Cornwall Warrens are ok as a chain and there are lots of local places. Under no circumstances eat anything made by Ginsters.

As a old boy from Plymouth I agree, Specially when I worked for a Cornish utility company, the local busy aroma filled bakery is the place to be, I virtually lived on pasties !

Sausage rolls, both Patty and Smoked Link, are huge in those parts of Texas settled by Germans or Czechs. In particular Czechs introduced the klobasniky which most non-Czechs erroneously call sausage kolaches. Properly, a kolache is always filled with fruit or spiced seeds, but the same sweet dough is used to wrap the meat in a klobasnik so the single non-English word is understandable

No worle is not a sub section of W.S.M. it is or was a village and very quaint until birdland ( a massive housing project started in the 60s) was created. This was followed by three and shrub land. As it grew it got closer and closer to WSM and extended to Huton another once lovely village to the north.

Next time you visit try a Yorkshire Curd Tart, should be pretty different to other things you've tried. Although British bakeries aren't the best, I remember you guys hitting a Greggs up in Scotland, a bakery chain ain't the best way to go, go local! French bakeries win hands down!

The first time I ever heard of a "pasty" was while reading Harry Potter. They're not described in the books, so I never really knew what they were 🤷 Treacle is also mentioned... Also have no idea what that is haha... And it took me awhile to realize that when the characters say "pudding," they don't actually mean pudding. We do have a version of sausage rolls in the US; they're a sausage link wrapped in a pancake. I've never tried one, because it just sounds gross lol

Bread in England is second only to France in Northern Europe. So much better than average USA sugary bread (except maybe New Orleans). The Scotch egg and Pasties can be bought from many national outlets like 'Greggs' but for sure you can find artesian (ie old school organic more legit) bakeries with a bit of googling. Yep Sausage rolls, Pasties, Scotch eggs and Pies can be great experiences but search those that are doing it the old way vs the High Street commercial country wide Cheap is best outlets. The scotch egg and Sausage rolls looked meh ! A bit like getting Texas BBQ from Walmart !
