This review is on the conté pastel pencils, the coloured pencils may be totally different. I have never tried those so I can't say.😋 You're very welcome! I am very happy that my video was helpful to someone!😁☺

At 3:20, was this made with Caran d’ache pastel pencils or Conte de Paris pastel pencils? I was just confused by the writing that said Caran d’ache.
Woops, that's a mistake on my part! It's supposed to say "conte a paris" because I've drawn that one specifically only with the contés tot test them out😅 thanks for pointing it out!
How do you feel about Conte sticks? They look like they might be more useful although definitely not necessary.
I have the conté sticks lying around here too, but I (almost) never use them.. I find them good for their purpose as something between the underlayer and the pencils, but I don't like the hardness of them. That's completely personal ofcourse!😋

In last 4-5 years Conte has became garbage. You have to pray before you start sharpening. Also pigment is different than before. For example 042 Sephia gray turned to Green gray. Rubbish.
Sad to hear that they have deteriorated so much! I don't use these a lot to almost never since I prefer the stabilo and faber castell pastels but still, sad to hear. They have some great colours in their range, hope they can get the quality back up!🤞
