Rerolling sounds great... then they show a clip of the worse rerolls your could get. Like 3 of those were good drives. Who would reroll a choice of 6 item slots for Biocoal... or Ironwire for Charcoal.

Current recipe is 50 copper ore + 25 iron ore to make 100 Copper Ingots while the 1.0 recipe shows 50 copper ore + 50 iron ore to make 100 Copper Ingots, thus using DOUBLE the iron ore for the same recipe. As to the Iron Alloy Ingot currently it is 20 iron ore + 20 copper ore to make 50 Iron Ingots (or 30 + 30 to make 75) while the 1.0 recipe shows 40 iron ore + 10 copper ore to make 75 Iron Ingots. So the 1.0 Copper Alloy Ingot is straight up WORSE while the Iron Alloy Ingot trades 10 extra iron ore to use 20 less copper ore for the same amount of ingots.
I'm looking forward to being able to get Cast Steel Screws faster in early game, among my fav Alt Recipes... then faster access to Compact Coal in Mid Game. I don't care how fast or slow I get the rest of'em.
Classified phenomena feels like the mercer spheres or somersloops. If you avoided saying it to encourage me to come here and say it - mission accomplished 😂

I think your calculation for the changed copper recipe is of. The new recipe gives only 10 copper ingot per cycles and need in result 10 cycles per minute for the 100 pm. output. This results in 10 times 5 for iron and copper ore, that is 50 per min for both. So the same amount vor copper ore user but dopple the iron ore use.
Thanks for pointing this out for me. Copper alloy will still be one of my bffs though - you can't go 10 feet on the map without tripping over an iron node so it doesn't matter if I use more with this change lol.
I've been keeping my eye on Satisfactory for a while now. Base building tours, tips and tricks, and sometimes just random build videos. I recently picked it up on Steam and I'm waiting for 1.0 to drop to dive into it. All that being said... this game has a story?!
Yep, there's been no story at all but they're adding one in 1.0. I have 1,100 hours of playtime but I haven't played it in 2 years just so I can start fresh in 1.0
@@-Gorby- I disagree. The devs have been pretty clear from the get-go that there is/was a story, but the implementation had to wait until the basic game play was finished. The existence of WIP items, and certain unexplained elements of the game supports this. Can't wait!

love the changes. although stackable miners are nice, I actually dont throw down a ton of miners like many people do. it will be nice when upgrading miners to mk 2 or 3 though.
Well looks like my Iron Alloy Solid Steel Ingot is going to take a pure iron nod and a impure copper nod to setup instead of the normal iron and normal copper nods. The change should make the Iron Wire setups with the Alloy Iron Ingots able to feed more constructors with two less forges. I like that change. I agree with the changes to copper alloy ingots as that reversal of resources of the older alts and your still getting the 100 copper ingot output. But that means that more nodes may be tapped as there are many locations on the fields and dune desert that have even nods near. These changes kind of make your last video of best location a drat.
I might have an idea on what the Classified Phenomena category might be for. It might be for SAM ore, the Somersloop, and the Mercer Sphere. Those are a few things that we still don't know the intended function of. The SAM ore says in its description that it seems to glisten with new possibilities, while the Mercer Sphere has an impossibly smooth surface. The Somersloop has a description that says it's a strange alien thing with a mind-bending, yet somehow familiar shape. These things might not be alien after all, they may have belonged to Ficsit and were lost by a careless Pioneer, who was dealt with accordingly, and Ficsit sent _you_ to collect the lost artifacts, using Project Assembly as an excuse to send you.
Stackable portable miners was released long ago, I think during the video about chainsaws being able to cut 1 tree instead of an area is when I noticed it.
back in the day the mam was part of the hub and come with a upgrade wonder if there going back to that because i usually skip the HUD because i know how to play the game
i would say there is no best alternativ. its all depend on situation. need to save power ? cast screws in the early game. massive production steel and oil alternativs. no copper in sight maybe iron wire or caterium cable.
You missed the point about... you can only unlock recipes at your unlocked tier level now. No more getting the best recipes for Nuclear fuel rods or Turbo fuel early on
Is it weird that I never really dealt with alternate recipes? I usually plan my builds out at work 2 weeks in advance using the wiki while I kill time at work.... I am old school. A few sheets of poster board, thumbtacks, and post-it notes. After that, I build an Excel spreadsheet and go to town. Am I really missing out?

If the technology exists to build all of this stuff on another planet, then surely The technology exist for an automated building system that sources, it does it all. MAM 2.0?

Cast screws and stitched iron plates are key to get as early as possible.
Stackable portable miners will be so helpful when setting up a factory.

No joke, it one time took me 80+ hard drives to get the “diluted packaged fuel” recipe, it was to the point I thought they removed the recipe
Did you notice some of the graphic changes? Look at how water is displayed on the wet concrete recipe.

That's normally how its worked. The only thing you unlocked early was the pure recipes which you could unlock before you got refiners.
