    Excellent video like always!! The Cosmopolitan is my all time favorite hotel/casino. I stay there on every trip.... those rooms, balconies and that location cannot be beat!

    Man Caesars just DOMINATED the Budget Category. Also, I think I agree with Virgin NOT making the top 5 in the "Off Strip" properties. It needs some more polishing before it earns that.

      @TheVegasParadise  Před 3 lety +3

      Ace Of Vegas yeah Caesars own the strip when it comes to Budget properties in my opinion, but once you get past that, that's when MGM takes over. And I agree, Virgin still has some work to do before making a case for Top 5 Off Strip

    Great video! 💯 on all of this. We have always said that about the Aria and Vdara, "it's just far enough off the strip, to be a inconvenience". But just spending Memorial day weekend at the Vdara for 5 nights, it really is one the most convenient properties to stay at! Far enough back to be quite, close to 3 of the finest properties on the strip and not having to walk through a casino first thing in the morning and that my friend is priceless!

    Kudos to putting Vdara on the off-strip list.

    MGM Grand over Mandalay Bay?????

      Joshua Miranda the lists weren't in order, just my Top 5. But I personally would put MGM Grand over Mandalay Bay, location is major point to me

    Funny I just watched a video from someone who stayed at Aria and it was awful. Myself I love downtown because it reminds of how Vegas was in the 80's. The strip isn't the same anymore. I still like it but has lost a bit for me. As long as the rooms are clean I'm good and I haven't had a bad stay anywhere yet. My next time there will be Ballys. Haven't stayed there before. I did stay at Hard Rock a couple of years ago and was disappointed. So wont' be trying Virgin

    When you have a list that is in no particular order its best to put the list in alphabetical order, so even if you forget to tell people that there is no particular order they will assume that if the list is alphabetical.

    I'm a little bias towards the LinQ. The vibe was incredible. I won a lot of money on slots and my wife got a handpay. The upgraded room was really nice.

    Best off-Strip by far is red rock. Stayed there and i was blown away. IMO its just too off strip. Such along Drive to the Strip.

    • @TheVegasParadise
      @TheVegasParadise  Před 3 lety +1

      C Blu that's why I didn't put Red Rock on the list. Nice hotel, but because of how far away from the strip it is, most people aren't going to stay there.

    Thank you for your video. My husband and I are planning a trip for October and I have been looking at the cosmopolitan, vdara, caesars palace and the bellagio so I’m happy to see that most of them are on your favorites list. Which would you suggest for first timers?

    • @TheVegasParadise
      @TheVegasParadise  Před 3 lety

    A very nice list, based on your experiences and preferences. I agree with your appreciation of Planet Hollywood, disagree with your choices of both MGM Grand and Aria. Those last two, in my opinion, are just too large for comfort. I could also make the case that Aria, set back so far from Las Vegas Boulevard, should be classified as an off-Strip hotel. 😁
    I cheat, and consider both Venetian/Palazzo and Wynn/Encore as a single property.
    For off-Strip, I would have Red Rock Station, Green Valley Ranch, Orleans (excellent value), Vdara and Signature MGM. For downtown, I would only stay at Circa, Plaza and the California.
    I would add, get the various Player’s Club cards! I’ve never paid $200+ a night at Bellagio, and I’m only at Gold level. I have a September stay scheduled (booked back in March before prices went up), and will pay $450 for a 6-night stay, including resort fees. My brother, at the lowest level of Sapphire, is still receiving offers of 3 nights free at the various MGM properties.

    • @TheVegasParadise
      @TheVegasParadise  Před 3 lety +1

      Ann Henriques I was like that for a while, considering Venetian/Palazzo and Wynn/Encore as the same property. But I stopped doing that because Aria/Vdara aren't the same property, and I didn't feel it was fair to separate those two and not do the same for the other hotels.
      If Red Rock wasn't so far from the strip, I would have added it to my off-strip list, but the travel is too inconvenient for most and most won't stay there. Thanks for you feedback!

    How does Caesar's make the overall Top 5 but not make it onto any of the sub-lists?

    • @TheVegasParadise
      @TheVegasParadise  Před 3 lety

      Justin S. Caesars is in my personal Top 5 because I've had memorable experiences there, and really like the hotel. But I wouldn't rank them as a Top 5 luxury hotel.

  • @macklanders

    I am sure most of us regular followers knew your top 2 favorite hotels before we clicked play on the video. I don't feel RIO is a contender on my personal list....we'll see after renovations happen.

    • @TheVegasParadise
      @TheVegasParadise  Před 3 lety +1

      macklanders Rio is a popular hotel for people who don't mind staying off the strip, because of the low pricing and it being an all-suite hotel. It will interesting to see what the property looks like after the renovations, to see if they are able to draw more guests to stay there
