I’m more a fan of GS dress watches than sport watches, so although that red/orange/pink chrono dial is gorgeous, I don’t like the rest of the watch. My favorite from them this year is their re-issue of their first watch, blue dial, rose gold, engraved branding. Stunning! Thank you for sharing this video Blake!
So, I have been commenting on every platform about how great the evolution 9 movements are, especially the automatic; At $10,000, Grand Seiko have delivered a package that shoots well above its price point relative to what the Swiss are producing. It seems like better value because it is in steel but the Swiss and their strategy for creating price points will not manufacture some of their watches in steel because it seems cheaper that way and cheaper means less prestige. I bet you if Patek had their previous generation Calatravas in steel, they would have been around this price point. Grand Seiko is simply an amazing brand and most of all, unpretentious.
looks great, all are 10x over priced tho. Should be under a grand. yeah, Archie said it best a decade ago... youve got to have a head full of rocks to spend 10k on any kind of seiko
