love hunting the tiny water. Need more open chokes . I switched to a SK1 a few years ago, and never looked back. When you have then at 15-20 yds, don't need much more than a 28 ga or light loads in a 20 or 12.

I hunt in the same area exactly like this, same situation.
So what’s wrong hunting Ducks with a 20ga. ? I did it all my hunting times on Lake Erie ,just do Head shots and Practice. Auto 5 was my gun. Love it yes steel shot only

New Zealand has good duck shooting we have honkers that can be shot all year round and no bag limit farmers don't want the on their paddocks. Come to New Zealand and do it the kiwi style.

Great spot. I love hunting skinny water. Only thing that I find strange is that you wear all kinds of camo to hide yourself well, but have those garish bright lime green calls hanging around your neck, which can probably be seen from a mile away. Maybe tuck them into your parka? Go to a dull color instead. Just an observation.

horrible shooting for a video 4 guys 10 ducks fly in one guy takes a shot , or they flatt ass miss🤦🏽
A.) we are picking out only drakes trying to take turns. B.) shooting 28 gauges at 7-10 yards leads to tight patterns and a learning curve on shooting ducks with them. Thanks for watching

Was that 20/28 a Tristar or Armsan ? Looks like one of the Turkish sub-gauges. Well made from what I've seen of them.
@Carter Dubberley We rarely hunt for them in the spring, but I have had a few exceptions. Shot 45 one morning with 50 shells in about 10 minutes as they came off the roost. Ran out of shells, but that was enough to clean.
