- I grew basil from seeds in hydroponic system without using soil, with only water. This timelapse of basil was filmed non-stop for 34 days. Hydroponic grow system used in this video can grow many types of indoor plants. Hydroponic systems are especially suitable for leafy vegetables and smaller plants like lettuce, herbs like mint and basil, cherry tomato and even strawberries.

In case you are wondering why the light is blinking, switching between pink and white - that is the feature of hydroponic kit. Its pinkish LED lights are programmed to stay on for 16 hours and off for 8 hours. Timelapse video makes it look like it’s blinking. 😊
Quick question what did you use for the liquid plan I’m mabye buying one of these kits as the plants
The kit comes with 2 different liquids and you have to mix them with water. The instruction manual in kit has all of the details. Hope that helps!

Not necessary, you can use any paper. Its purpose is to block direct light on the sponge in order to prevent algae growth on the sponge. Once the seed sprouts, you can remove the paper.
why the middle one died?
Not quite sure. It might be because the bigger ones absorbed all of the plant nutrients available in water tank.
There are cheaper way superior kits than this bro lmao.
