This performance surprised us all and I was not about to vote them untill I saw this live performance. What a stage presence and charisma they have, they both are giving 150% on stage. Also the song is impactful and sounds good live. Who cares if judges are gonna ignore them? They are gonna put on a good show and have a time of their lives ❤
If we keep giving the juries what they hate, they will be forced to change. They must still give points 😌

You were so right! The times Finland is high in the results in the scoreboard or WON in ESC is when we deliver something different and out-of-the-box. We have delivered many exceptionally good and “quality” songs to the ESC for example 2017 one of the best ballads in Eurovision history with Norma Jean “Blackbird” and we didn’t even qualify from the semifinals thanks to the juries.
So Finnish people think screw the high establishment juries and let’s have fun and be who we are and send something that IS us! It’s not the people’s fault - it’s the establishment’s - at least we tend to think here with many examples.
When it comes using Finnish language - in the 90’s there weren’t euro dance songs in Finnish so it would not fit in the concept. We are open for all the languages - maybe next year in Finnish or in Swedish? As we are the last nation to bring Swedish language song in ESC 2012!
But let’s have fun and enjoy life as it is🎉 We deserve it🎊 It’s going to be great ESC spring💃🕺

I love that you appreciate the staging. The camera angles must have been so hard to do. I was there watching this live. The show was amazing. The crowd went totally crazy on this!! As did I! I was so happy he won😍 I'm sure Windows95man will bring lots of fun and positiveness to this years Eurovisions❤️

I love to watch reactions like this. You completely understood why this song won, and how intentional all of the camera angles were. Oh, and if this was in Finnish, we'd lose the beautiful accent.

I'm glad you picked the staging working so well. I also think that the camera angles and the movements of everyone on stage were so good! Everything fit so well compared to other UMK performances.

I think you nailed it. People thought that Sara was really good and she was gonna win, BUT once this came on people were happy, energised and it was just pure joy. Finnish people then and there decided we wanna have fun. I don't think it had anything to do with Käärijä other than how much joy we had from a good party song and we still wanna keep the party going 😄 also show the jury that we do want we want.

I wanted Sara's staging to be completely stripped of anything unnecessary, just her standing there behind the mike stand looking straight into the camera, concentrating 100% on the vocals. Everything else was a distraction and harmed her vocals I think.

Sara is a very new artist. I assume that there could have been some of the biggest audiences he's had, if not the biggest, and that could have had an effect as well. It was clearly very stressful. Windows95man is used to performing. After all, he's been doing it for a long time.
