I’m confused on why to march a bass trombone for this show. You maybe played a few notes that were under the Bb on the staff. I feel like it could all be doable on a normal tenor without the F attachment. That’s why I liked bluecoats use of bass bone because they used that lower register. My school doesn’t even own a bass trombone but we still made state finals this year in Kentucky though I will say our school weirdly supports Everything Lafayette which you can imagine pisses me off because they like Lafayette more than their own band. We might not be the best band and you might have friends in other bands but if you lose it’s a time to reflect on what you could still do better to win rather than hailing to the winning band
Tiffany W I have marched bass trombone the past seasons because of having to go to rehearsals directly after marching band rehearsal, and from request of my teachers. Also, the parts that you heard that are below the staff would be nearly impossible to play on a tenor while marching, low Bs are not to be messed with.
