Crusher Mini Bike Build | $20 Mini Bike Gets a Tillotson 225!

- This Baja Warrior mini bike Ike bought for $20 looks like a rat rod, and the factory 196cc engine is too worn out to run any more (we suspect it has frozen piston rings). Other than the engine and it's looks, this mini bike rides really well! The forks aren't bent, the brake works, and it rides comfortably, so we're swapping a 17hp Tillotson 225cc high performance engine onto it, making a sleeper mini bike!

These couple of videos are some of the best content that I have seen from either one of your channels. Not only did y'all save an older minibike,you also got that old,clapped out gonersville of an engine running again. I didn't think it had an ice cubes chance in hell of coming back from the dead.

@Beefy Animations dude didnt even watch the video you and i both heard them clearly say they were going to re ring the engine for another project in this video and the last. Hes trying to act like this is a collectors bike or something that shouldnt have a much more powerful engine in it. Its got big tires for a minibike and it would suck with the stock engine rebuilt with those big tires jackshaft or not, just imagine it with 1/4 the horsepower after waiting another week and watching another video of them not riding it.

Remove governor and put a header on any of these go kart engines and they all shoot flames at full rpm its really impressive

the run away go kart had me in tears. totally wish you had a go pro on your face. my run away episode ended me up in hospital with 4 broken ribs a punctured lung and a fractured eye socket from hitting and going through the fence and into the neighbors house at around 40-50km. i tried to laugh and walk it off until i felt my eye start closing up and not being able to breath. bloody fun times i tell ya
Get the tires to hold air and leave it alone. It's a keeper especially for when you have go kart and mini bike get togethers and have something reliable to use and not have to constantly work on it all the time.
I just had a 20 yo go kart project go full throttle on me. Lucky for me I was standing behind it and was able to lift the back wheels while my daughter ran over to hit the kill switch! Lesson learned!!

From Houston... Doodle Bug $150 + $14 carb, upgrading soon w/Predator 212 that I have. 2 karts w/Predator 212's. 1 was $225 other $175. Both ran, and still do perfectly. All 3 from OfferUp. Great area for great deals! Started as gandson/grandpa project(s). He has learned SOOO much! It's the time together that means the most though.

Cleetus has high performance quality stuff. Cars and cameras has off brand Chinese stuff. For example cleetus has a 180 horsepower cbr1000rr golf cart and cars and cameras had a predator 420 golf cart and they thought it was fast.
@@jaxonwilson2183 does it really matter though its the "Freedom Factory" its about having fun andcars and cameras is a smaller CZcams channel so obviously they're not going to have super high powered things especially for them just driving around go-karts made in a shed

Years ago my grandpa bough and old 25hp sailboat engine that had been sitting. He set in on a table and connected it to a battery to see if it would crank (remember, this engine was sitting for like 10-20 years) and it cranked, AND STARTED! It wasn't even hooked up to fuel. It started on 20yr old fumes sitting one wood table in my grandpa's shed and started bouncing everywhere.
Man I never get enough of yall goonin around on builds! You guys are great for real dont change anything about yall. Still waiting on that race here in WV, I'll put my Bone Collector against whatever yall got in the same category. 390cc clutch driven versus ( John n Ike's build name here) let's make it happen, it was my son's idea to get yall to race us either in our Bone Yard, or in yalls track.

im sure in other states just like minnesota. if you have a bike with more than 50cc/2hp it needs to be registered as a motorcycle/mooped. i got pulled over on my baja 200 i got for 70 bucks. so with this law its a pain in the butt to own a mini bike in minnesota. also our atv/snowmobile trails also dont allow motorcycles on them because they are special grant paid for trails. so thats why you might not find them in some states. awesome work guys!!

Do a RUST-oration. Clean it up but leave the rust on it. No touching the paint. Hit it with a flat, or satin clear coat to protect the look. Patch the holes in the seat with some "duct tape" looking material. Plumbing pipe for the exhaust.

In upstate NY, they are around but expensive. Just snagged a coleman CT200U EX for 200 bucks, and up here, that's a fantastic deal. Going to strip off all the ugly camo and pop a 70s Briggs and Stratton in it.

I have a predator 212 on my Warrior with a 30 series cvt with a 9 tooth sprocket driving the original rear sprocket... I weigh 220 and it hauls with me on it!

The only two suggestions I have for this bike would be tires with better tread and a Rat Fink design for the sides of the faux gas tank. Aside from that keep it rough and patina'd looking. It could the be the mini-bike friend to you Rat Rod GoKart. :)
I just built my first motor w a mikuni, it’s on my latest videos, but main reason I’m commenting, a good way to make ur project not launch when u try n start it, turn the fuel on, n put ur hand over the filter hole w the choke on, pull the cord a few times slowly till u get fuel on ur hand, then turn choke off n should start first few pills.

It's the same here in Georgia rich in mini bikes and go karts I have a lot of go-karts and 2 many bikes and lawn mowers
It's why there's no channels like this anywhere else in the world, only in the USA is there so much cheap small engine power equipment and powersport equipment.
That front fender looks like it's on backwards. It looks real funny! But looks like fun that bike.
Ive literally pulled 3 4 wheelers out of the trash. An 86 honda 70 trx, and a 90cc and 110cc chinese quads.. Rebuilt 2 carbs and replaced 1 and thats all it took to get them running. Of course i changed the oil and other maintenance once i got them running
You guys have to do all the performance mods for a Predator 79 and see how much power you can make from that tiny engine

I have one of these with a Duromax 440cc and a 40 series comet. It is astonishingly stable! If it were geared lower, then it could be a genuine road cruiser!

Baja Warriors have a nice balance point for smooth wheelies compared to a doodlebug and other common frames. May have to get another to play around with, this looks like tons o' fun!

The sunf mud tires look amazing on these. I had a baja 196 with a predator 212 on it and I put the sunf tires on it and they looked amazing

NE Ohio has em. Over the past year I sold 7 go karts, 2 mini bikes , 1 trail 70, 1 z50, a kv75, I still have 2 mini bikes, 1 trail 70, an motorcycle (for the engine), and 2 four wheeler, oh and a golf cart. And the just me imagine all the others out there

not sure how many of the comments you read, but I have seen you wipe down chrome parts with a wet paper towel. If you use water and aluminum foil, it will clean the chrome to like new status given there is still chrome left on some of those old bikes.

I think you guys have abundance of toys in your area due to North Carolina has a lot of racing, nascar and drag racing. Mini bikes make good pit vehicles.
