I love the relatively lo-tech setup, in a delightfully old fashioned room, free of studio sophistication. I don't think Maxim Vengerov has ever sounded better. Such a lovely, direct sound and so much more intimate than the usual concert hall performance. Beautifully vibrant cello too.

Oh yes of course the page turned,what beautiful tecnique, I personally liked page turn number 23,45,55,....what dominance....like we may never see a pageturner like this in our lifetime...wow...brave ,encore...that vengrov guy wasn't half bad as well...
I can't believe one of my favorite violin virtuosos, Maxim Vengerov himself appeared to play in a free concert! Thank you, everyone in this video. Such a beautiful performance!

Coronavirus has given us the opportunity to hear this wonderful Trio in the environment , the natural habitat in which they were first created.
And.. on a Magnificent Late 19th C C.Bechstein piano.
As a violinist the amount of confidence he has is insane his eyes are closed but he is somehow able to follow the other just by feeling the music.
The pianist is doing a great job! and Vengerov playing by heart! Wao wonderful!!!!
