UPDATE! SOLUTION FOUND! : (2020-2021) POLARIS RZR CLUTCH RECALL

- Good news! Polaris has released new information about the RZR clutch recall and has found a solution! Polaris will be sending out clutch reader tools to separate the good clutches from the bad to all Polaris dealerships. Due to customer frustrations, Polaris is also giving out 1 year extended warranties on all affected RZRs as well as a 2 year warranty on all affected clutches.
In this video, we'll take you through the clutch inspection process and show you how the problem is solved.

I noticed that this recall vid is 2yrs old BUT 2022 Sept. I received a new clutch recall for my 2021 RZR Turbo XP. It took polaris until Feb 2023 to create a solution for the new grenading clutch issue. This recall included a new fuel line routing path, all new clutch that is heavier and the ECU had to be retuned.
Whats up with the dates on here?? Says 2 years ago but there are comments 6 months ago. Also its on 2020 and 2021?
Those are not alignment holes. The holes are drilled to dynamically balance the assembly (balance holes).
I noticed that too. Im guessing he mis spoke. I hope!
I just got my recall notice a couple of days ago but the dealership said they don’t have the part number yet. Unsure how that can be after seeing this.

Clutches are still failing, my buds was over today on his 2021 XP Pro and his grenaded!! Thank God the kids were on the opposite side, there was shrapnel 20 feet back from where it blew, this is on a bike that passed inspection!!

I own a 2021 XP 4 1000 High Lifter edition and just recently after driving it the clutch broke off and flew out the primary cover!!! Dealer is trying to say they will only fix it one time....BS!!
Ours is one of the bad ones and we still can't get a new clutch. Prime time riding for us and we are stuck at home. No date from Polaris when they will be released because they are down because of a virus that has a 99.8% recovery. This is some serious BS!
And a 0.00000005% death rate. Absolutely bs especially when they are on tell lie vision saying they cured the flu this year..... Or just renamed it and forced fed fear into anyone volintaraliy watching thevtell lie vision. Living to avoid dying IS NOT living at all. Sorry to hear about your rzr
What about the current safety recall where they said that wasn’t good enough anymore.

Hi, I'm new to these things. I bought a 2021 Polaris 1000 turbo S. I only drove it once and today I moved it to wash it. I heard a noise when I hit the gas! clack!!! just once. It is heard when you are completely stopped and you push the gas, it is heard in the back but when driving it you do not hear anything? It's normal I'm new to this by I want to learn thanks. For you time !!!
This is completely normal. This is when the two sides of the clutch come together to grab the belt. I said that too the first time.
Damnit i should have bought a rzr i want some recalls.

Do you know when was the recall completed??
Will they offer the 1 year warranty on units that haven’t been sold yet? I had one on order and can’t take delivery until they inspect it. Will that get a one year warranty?
That's a great question, I would say the answer is likely No.
So if you own a 2020 xpt your warranty gets extended only of you have the issue? Or just for having a 20 21?
It all depends on when you purchased your 2020 machine. If you're still within your 6 month warranty (let's say you have 3 months left of your original warranty) you'll get an extended 1 year warranty on top of the original warranty you have. We'll get more information for you regarding if the 1 year extension only applies to those who fall within their original warranty. Stay tuned!
My dealer told me to come back for a revised version ro see if my clutch was bad. A week after I baught it. This time it failed. Been waiting 5 weeks now
What did it do exactly? Seized?
Are they going to continue the sells on the new rzr or are sales still paused ?
I'm sure after the recall inspection or repairs to the clutch, if needed, are done they can sell.
