  • A year ago, a high school teacher in the Western Australian mining town of Kalgoorlie noticed young African-Australian women were struggling with their hair so she decided to start a group to teach African hair styles.
    Now the group, called Black and Cute, has become much more, it's a place where young women are connecting to their parents’ cultures and taking pride in their identity.

    From Kenya. I love what you ladies are doing for your kids. Teach them to hold their heads up high. Pls cont. to encourage them to speak their God given language for there is no salvation outside culture.
