Thank you for watching! The GoPro is on my front bumper right below the hinge point on the hood. You can just put it on your hood and angle the camera up if that’s safer!

I just received my Ulanzi SC-02 suction mount in which I placed it on the upper outside corner of my windshield but, haven't road tested it yet. I'd like to use my power bank for powering my Hero 10 but, I can't find a 10' USB-C to USB A power cable. Everything I'm coming across are charging cables that won't deliver the power. Do you happen to know of any? Thanks again for your suggestions, appreciate it. 👍

I move the same one around! Generally start lower on the car before it gets dusty and hard to stick; then make my way up to the top of the car

I'm gonna go for a racing and was wondering which gopro should I take to shoot good quality and use as POV. It seems it's gonna be uncomfortable to race while clipping the gopro in the middle of my face so do you have any other methods to use as POV? Maybe a helmet and put on top or idk?
I would recommend finding a way to rig the go pro to your windshield or use a 3M tap mount that can go on the side your helmet (near the mouth / ear area on the inside).

The suction cup mounts never hurt your exterior paint at all right? I just got a brand new car and am slightly hesitant to put one on the outside lol
I promise you it wont hurt the paint, just make sure the surface of both the cup and the car are clean, or it wont stick and hold on very well! Thanks for checking out the video - I apologize for the late response. What car did you get?

These are beautiful shots and footage, and I love those angles! One thing that would help me the most is what resolution and frame rate you’re using to get these? I love shooting cruises or racing (in Mexico), and it’s hard to figure out the best setup. Also are you using Wide, Linear, Super Wide?
Thank you! I will have to check older film, but I film in cinematic mode, 4K, 30FPS, Linear! I hope this helps! This video in particular is only going to be 1080p because that's the resolution I saved it at in iMovie. The more artsy shots will need to be filmed at a slower speed or that camera will twist and maybe fly off if you are going too fast. @@kobyspurgin thanks for that info! I was sitting in my car yesterday trying find the best angle but Wide definitely wasnt it lol. Ill try out 4K 30, have you had any luck with 5K 30...or 4K 60?. Looks great either way. Are you linear for ALL of these angles?
@@AlmightyBeezy I have not tried any of the others :/ I have the GoPro 8. I believe all are linear, but the POV one might have been something different. I will check my files later tonight and see what they say 👍🏼

Have you had any problems with a GoPro suction mount falling off? Should I use a tether when filming?
The only times I’ve had problems is lower on the car where it gets dusty. The Joby mount with the red/black tends to fall off at higher speeds, you can tether it if you like but I just make sure I have the case on

No problem! I am using the GoPro Hero 8 and the basic GoPro mount. The black and red mount is the JOBY suction cup mount!

What microphone do you use to capture audio with minimal noise from the wind?
Hey Santo, I apologize for the late reply. All of these videos are very windy so I muted the audio and put music over it. I have to turn the car and the AC off to even film anything in the car without background noise. Some will put tape over their microphone outside the car, but if you're trying to capture the car of the sound, that too will also be quieter.

Wouldn’t that be like a dash cam shot? You could totally hang the camera upside down on the front windshield, but flip the footage when you edit it

HAHA! I don't even want to know! I dropped mine twice filming this video, but that was because the car was dirty in some spots and I didn't have a good clean surface for the camera suction cup!

Sure you can... I wouldn't advise it - Having a dash cam should probably be connected 24/7 to a database. You would be burning through chips and batteries very fast.

Bro would you recommend go pro 10 for recording of 3 to 4 hours? At a stretch!
Honestly I would always recommend the newest gopro, but you will need multiple batteries and sim cards. Not sure if you meant continuous or not LOL

@@sorabhkohli4708 Yeah a gopro is not going to be able to record continuously for 4 hours. The suction cup is called a Joby Suction cup mount and can be purchased online or at Best Buy.

@@sorabhkohli4708 Probably 2 hours. depends on what quality you are filming at. 4k is going to drain that battery pretty quick. Sounds like you might need a dash cam or something else that can be hardwired.

Nope, it’s too high and a bad angle, only way it will work is if you are super short
