This song is actually 42 years old. It came out in 1982. I was 12 years old then and remembered listing to this song in the radio.
Toto had toured South Africa in the 80's ,alongside a South African band called The Hawks'
Some of the props give away a western view about what Africa signifies to them. The lion, the spear. Beautiful though.
