- Have you ever seen a transformation like this one? It's rare we get to paint so much brick and to be able to go full black on black was the type of project no one will forget for a very long time. We hope this house stands out on the block for many years to come! Thanks to our clients who were bold enough to break the norms of house painting and allow us to make their vision come true!

What a transformation. Love the black on black.
I saw an all black house last year. I was with my nephew and we both noticed it at the same time, it was stunning. I think of it often.
I absolutely LOVE this. It made it look so much more sleek & modern. Took it from ur “grandma’s house” to “now the kids own it.”🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Loving the black exterior painting, in including the dance moves at the end. lol 🙌
That turned out great that black looks really good!!!!
Obsessed!!! Love all things black in decor!
Looks so rad!!! I would’ve loved to see them use a cedar door and garage doors that at least appeared cedar as well but that’s just me…it looks beautiful!!! So much more modern and less dated… as far as the maintenance I’m sure these people have the income it takes to maintain the look of a sleek black home ❤❤
This house looks amazing!! You all did a fabulous job!
Glad you liked it!!
You all did an AMAZING job! This house is stunning!!😍😍😍😍😍
Glad you liked it!!
So beautiful, so different! Good job!
LOVE this! Black is such a deep, elegant, cozy color. I did a black accent wall in my living room on my tv wall with modern wall lights & love it
Looks like a beautiful deep grey. Love it.
Really makes all the plants pop!! I'm doing my light beige siding home dark blue black shutters! Can't wait!! I think dark colors are beautiful and do not show tree mold. 🖤
I love Black House ! Good job guys!
Beautiful! Really shows the different brick patterns. Very bold move...love it

Fantastic, Very bold
Awesome, love it.
On another note, I keep thinking you guys should be wearing a mask when spraying.
I like this idea as I'm a Black color lover ,very nice 🥰🥰🥰
Beautiful! I was either thinking gray or black and now I’m definitely going all BLACK!
Damn this house looks badass black!
Lot of people going with the deep colors, we just painted one black too….❤
How did it go??
i did this to my home in Portland Or I have had a lot of people say they like it. I went with Iron Ore Sherwin Willams. we love how the brick came out.
That’s awesome! Do you mind sharing….how do you paint the white vinyl ??? No primer?? We live near Portland on WA side ;)
Looks amazing
Love it.
I like it. I like it a lot. 👍🏾
A master piece
Beautiful...I actually like the brown

The color black makes the house look bigger and gives it a castle look
ILOVE IT!!!!
Love it bro
Exactly what i was looking for
Did you prime the brick? It looks amazing!
so beautiiful
Absolutely amazing! We’re doing this when we move. Depending on if we buy a brick home or a slab home/barn. Either way it’s going to be black!
Loving the black, totally updated the home, heck I'd live there 😂
Now they need a dark slate roof.
Love it
Outstanding
Thanks Beau
Looks Great ! Is that a masonry stain or a paint ? Is it okay to just spray and back roll 2 coats of finish coat or does it need primed before hand with blockfill ?
Hello! We used Regal Select Exterior in Low Luster and it is self priming.
@@TribblePaintingCompanycan you explain?. It looks like you just used the black paint called sea on the bricks.
Is that the same paint on the window frames? Are they pvc?
Man, I would NOT have painted all of it black, including window frames. Looking at it as three sections I would have stepped back after painting just one of the sections first, to see how well it goes... I think I'd go for painting the middle section first, to see if it looks good enough already just like that. THEN, if I thought I should try painting black at ONE end of the house as well, I'd go for that next... and then I'd look again to see how it looks that way. And only then, if I didn't like it, would I go ahead and finish the third section in black. Those current/unpainted bricks don't look bad at all alone, but it would be more current and modern to paint either one or two of the sections black, and to leave at least one of the sections unpainted.... or...?
To each his own though, of course! I personally would not like to have the entire exterior all black, including the windows (!). Even just painting the window frames a dark grey instead of black might help your eyes when you're looking at the newly painted house...
Hi there, great video. Is this a stain or paint? Thinking of H and C color top to stain or going with loxon xp. Thanks
Hello! We used Regal Select Exterior in Low Luster.
What nap did you back roll with? 3/4
Solid paint job, I think I preferred the original multicolor bricks though.
Is Silent Sea a Benjamin Moore color? I can't seem to locate it on their website.
Just had my house painted and wanted the white window trim to be painted but the contractor was not comfortable with that idea. Due to maintenance and upkeep. Any suggestions or type of paint to use for my metal white trim? Ended up doing a dark gray for the home and black for the accessories.
Wait…how did you paint the white vinyl windows?? And with no primer at all?? Would have liked to see some of the paint prep work u did and how do u paint white vinyl? I want to do that! :)
Since no one responded I’m assuming that indeed, there is no new paint or technique I’m unaware to do this. Of course most anything can practically be painted over and look ok for a month or two - but can paint over VINYL windows actually last? If so, how? Also, any thoughts about painting metal windows?
IF painting vinyl IS possible what are the limitations (like only paint on picture windows but not ones that open close or slide? Does it only work well in mild climates without much whether variability or sun shining on them? Any special coatings or other maintenance that COULD be done to actually keep the look, otherwise it degrades / flakes / chips off….etc?? ). Seriously I would LOVE to know the products and techniques to use but maybe this is proprietary information 😂 If it isn’t something that can maintained than it shouldn’t be painted on the windows - for example if the owner of the house only wanted black because it would look more current and fake out potential buyers unknowingly then it’s probably not a good idea to paint it but have them either figure out a way to make the look work in another way or suggest they replace the windows to black if they must be black. Believe me I really wanted all black windows everywhere but I was told it won’t last and will like bad quickly: but that was also 5-6 years ago so 🤷🏻♀️
What sprayer did you use and tip and pressure
❤❤❤
Cool solar oven, dude!!
That color reminds me of that ugly alley down town
Painting destroys brick, it makes brick retain moisture inside brick which eventually leads to broken and spalled brick, Leaks will follow, the value of your home drops and the best part you will pay a Bricklayer like me loads of money to repair, STAIN YOU BRICK,DO NOT PAINT, STAIN YOU BRICK.
It looks beautiful, a bit Gothic, perfect for Halloween decorating...but, what if they change their mind ever and want the real brick color again.
They would have to move. It can't go back, one of the reasons I'm not a big fan of painted brick.
Looks beautiful but it reminds me of car tyres and now I can't unsee it😅
Did you paint vinyl windows? If so, with what kind of paint?
Good question. I've always heard vinyl windows (and siding) should be painted with something like Sherwin Williams Vinyl Safe.
What Tip size did you used? Green or blue?
Once you go black. You dont go back😊
What's the maintenance cycle for this product? Presumably significantly reduced due to increased susceptibility to effects of the sun?
what sheen did you go with?
Ok I’m curious. I heard that you’re supposed to stain brick so it can still breathe and that paint will smother it? True or false?
You are right they just ruined that brick. black mineral stain could have been applied the same way and last decades and wont fad.
As a realtor investor they have depreciated the value of there home. By 40.000 dollars. Especially the color black. I always tell the homeowners to never paint brick or stone homes leave as is. 73% off buyers love the natural look of brick or stone.
What’s the value if they absolutely love it?
Sounds like that “juicy” instrumental
I do like the looks of this, but doesn't brick lose its ability to breathe when painted?
Thanks for watching! Todd talks about that in our How to Paint & Maintain Your Brick Home video:czcams.com/video/qDDu7b5wq10/video.htmlsi=dZrqbXlQCtm0FwKl
In hot weather with those dark colors, start early and follow the shade around the house....
Black house matters
Do you need primer?
You missed the trees and the window glass 😂
Do that in Texas and watch how hot your new Sauna gets.
Wouldn't it reflect the heat?
It’s a brick house so it has much better insulation properties than a traditional house
@@NathanielCruz. Black absorbs heat. White would reflect it
I love black houses but I think this was too much, it looks really nice with the normal brick and the black accents!!
Oh hell to the naw naw naw!~ I'd be starting a neighborhood petition.
nimby
why did you not use a primer?
2-in-1
Where y’all located
Ann Arbor, Michigan
You forgot to paint the bushes!
You need to fix that roof. Paint it white or grey 😆
Why do you have to back roll?
Hello, We back roll to make sure the paint is worked into all of the nooks and crannies of the brick.
What sheen is bro ???? Pls
Hello, Thank you for watching. We used an Exterior Low Lustre finish.
I’m shocked you can paint white windows.
Not supposed to paint brick?
What's is the name color?
Hello, It is Silent Sea 0515
I'm painting my house because it needs repainting I'm watching these CZcams videos and people are ruining their homes beautiful brickwork it's sacrilege
Not so much! Yes, brick is beautiful but it, like everything else in life, can become boring. They didn't ruin the house in this video - they changed it and they love it, as they should bc it looks absolutely gorgeous!!
needs a new roof, black, and a grey accent portion of the house somehow....just to break it up a little, looks kewl though..good job. im going with a black and burnish slate colors in a sheet metal house siding
Looks good although personally I Would Have White or grey Trim
simi-gloss or what ?
We used a low lustre finish.
seems like half the people on here are blind 😂😂 I mean what ever color you want is up to the homeowner, if you ask me id say " its all green to me"
Question? Everything I have read says brick should never be painted...Is there a reason some people on You Tube say you never paint brick? Thanks Looks great BTW!!!!
Hi Judy, Thank you for watching! Unlike with wood sided homes, brick does not need to be painted to maintain the integrating of the siding. Some people hate how their brick siding looks and painting can be an options to change the look. Others love the low maintenance of brick and don't want to paint it. It is all about personal preference with brick.
Probably sucks in the summer
I hope you used brick paint and not just any old paint as it is not great for bricks.
Never paint brick. Stain it!
What’s up with the brick on that house!? The mason threw everything at it! Hering bone, basket weave, soldier courses, you name it! Very ugly. Good thing they painted it.
Thank you for watching! The previous owner actually designed and built the house himself.
@@TribblePaintingCompany oops hahaha
How to turn your house into an uninviting gothic nightmare.
Not a pro but research staining vs painting brick homes.
I wish i had the b@lls to do that...Beautiful
