No life and a childlike mentality are a really poor combination. Now go ahead and reply with a childish insult, it is what's expected of you.

You could not have said it better. Nobody should disagree with your comment. Anyway, it doesn't matter what some may think about Oscar. He is very comfortable in his own skin. He is a wealthy man, retired with all his senses and health intact, owns his own promotion company and is duly respected by all who are knowledgeable about the sport of boxing. While everyone is entitled to their own opinion I'm sure Oscar isn't laying awake at night wondering how to respond to his naysayers. He definitely had a great career.
This excuse is unacceptable. Manny as a "father" just had his 5th child this yr. Always there for his 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th since birth. Regardless, both are LeYends.

Where do silly ppl get that Bs from. Who's the oldest between the two, Mayweather or Pac? Who made excuses for losing? Pacman. Mayweather in his prime would have beat Pac worse. Stay safe.
When Oscar gave up, Manny didn't jump around or got boastful about his victory. He simply walked up to De la Hoya and embraced him and even still calling him his idol. What a great fight with great fighters showing great sportsmanship.
True. This is why I respect Manny a lot whether he loses or wins he never throws a tantrum or become boastful. He always says nothing personal just doing his job. What a guy.
Now This is Prime Manny, There is no way that Mayweather could Stop this Version of Manny if they would have fought. Some may say, oh Oscar was old, well it was only a year since he fought Mayweather in 2007 and they both gave a hell of a fight.Oscar just couldn't keep up! This version of Manny had the Speed and Power, movement and angles to cause serious damage.
He had no strength or energy left after dropping the weight. He hadn't weighed that in many years. Plus, it's well documented in his later years he didn't take training as seriously. So I'm sure it was a struggle to lose weight his entire time training. So it was a recipe for a disaster and we saw the results.

You can tell Pacman was being compassionate with Oscar... at some points during the 7th round he didn't even wanna hit him anymore, it's like he felt bad for him; it was just the respect factor.
Pacquiao is gonna need this head movement and footwork against Floyd. People talk about Floyd frustrating pacquiao, but this agility could really bother Floyd. It could make him think offense, and if that happens, night night Floyd lol. Floyd does not want to trade with Pacquiao.
Just think, AK is faster than Manny..Even I'm faster than Mayweather. I sent a vid to the Mayweather camp showing my hand and footspeed. I know they recieved it and had no reply. I'd take a fight with Mayweather tomorrow if I was offered. They didn't call me Billy Whizz for nothing! :)
Manny uses his head movement in this fight he wins it easier than people think. His head movement and in and out tactics will get him the W. If he goes for the finish or he does not move his head or keep his right hand high he can have a long night. Floyd will throw and land that right hand, only thing is will Floyd commit to throwing it hard.
Anyone that says Pacquiao is a brawler and cant box doesn't know boxing. The head movement, the footwork, the way he picked his shots. Great IQ and boxing ability. 🇵🇭🥊

cyrus138 You idiot, Mayweather fought Delahoya before Pacquiao so your point is invalid including the weight drain. Delahoya fought Mayweather at a comfortable weight for him unlike Pacquiao. Damn, you Pactards get stupider every day.
Despite Oscar obviously being weight drained and weak, this is still the best I have ever seen Pacquiao look. Great lateral movement, great head movement, mixing up his attack and not being so left hand heavy. The only thing I could have seen Pacquiao doing any better in this fight was really sticking his jab. Excellent performance by Manny.
Ese mismo sentimiento que le llegó a Oscar de la Hoya cuando se rindió, fue el mismo que millones de mexicanos sentimos cuando le ganó a JC Chávez. Un gran boxeador de la Hoya.
