The first thing I noticed is that the green carpet looks just like the stuff used to line gold miners sluice boxes, and I suspect that it all gets taken up periodically and washed out to recover all the gold dust.
Very clever system.

It’s crazy how clean that place is, totally looks like a brand new set up, great work and video too!
Floors and surfaces are vacuumed up daily as that’s why the floor is covered with Astro turf because it catches the gold in the fibers and makes it hard to identify and steal. They literally vacuumed out the carpet and run it through a small trommel.
Not one flake goes to waste. Here in America they don’t think about this. You can vacuum around a jewelry shop storefront take home all the stuff and pan it out with water and soap to remove the surface tension so that the thin flakes can’t float on the top 🤷♂️

I'm not sure what year you think this is, America and Europe synthesize their precious metals using particle accelerators.
99.9% gold is soft enough you can engrave it with a finger-nail.
Typing paper leaves scratches, rubbing it in your hands can spoil the polish.
This is investment gold in a pretty shape; well done.

Never seen a Japanese jewellery manufacturing but looking at it now through this youtube channel, it made me fall in love with this craft.
Fascinating to see how its made! Each step so precise. With gold, you cannot waste a single shaving, so shavings are also collected and melted back down to wire. I hope one day, I can work with a bit of gold to make something pretty myself. What a joy to see this beautiful metal molded into lovely wearable art. Thank you! 고맙습니다!
8:22 - the little tiger pendant is 11.262 grams. 18K gold is currently at $40.06 per gram x 11.262 = $451 + labor + profit which means it could sell for $800.
24K gold is $53.41 per gram so it would cost $601.50 to make it + profit + labor = $1200 or so.
That’s including no waste product though, which is impossible if you’re making the pendant. I would add 4-5 grams just for waste, of course you’ll be able to melt it down, but you still need that extra. If a novice such as you or I wanted to make this it would cost similar to what it would cost to buy it I imagine.
@@iqfend I am certain it would be cheaper and more handmade appeal. You have to buy the gold cheap, that is the trick.

Increíble la máquina impresora de metales, es el futuro de la joyería. Sin embargo una pieza de 24k es moldeable fácilmente por lo que es una joya de vitrina, me pregunto si está impresora es capaz de imprimir en 750mm y 249mm de plata o cobre.
