So, you are being replaced at work. It feels really sucky, right? In this video I am going to help you understand why you were replaced, and tell you what you can do about it!
The reality is, you are replaceable at work! I was replaced at work after 3 years of hard work and dedication to a job I loved. I was given another position, but it was not something I was passionate about. I battled all of the emotions. I went through the 'I hate my coworkers I hate my job' phase and the 'should I quit my job' phase, but in the end I realized it was actually my ego that was hurting.
After a few years of consideration, I realized that my ego is getting in the way. I found ways to apply a growth mindset at work to find the growth opportunities in my struggle. I realized that I could learn from this experience, find new passions and take them elsewhere to look for other work. As a result, I quit my job and found a new passion that has made me happier than I could ever have imagined!
In the end, you are replaceable at work. The place you work will not always have your back. However, your friends and family will! Always remember: you are replaceable at work not at home!
