I want to read all the books you talked about, maybe not the Power. I read a lot of thought provoking but YA tends to always make their thought provoking books from one side of an issue. I got my dad and siblings gift certificates from Indigo for Christmas and we all went on New Years day for some book shopping. I picked up Nevermoor, A Darker Shade of Magic, and the School for Good and Evil. (As well as a few others that I ordered online). I just started Nevermoor and am loving it so far! Thank you so much for your videos.
I really enjoyed Whichwood too but I feel that it was also quite sad at times and that it was more than just a cute quick read (not saying that you found it that way) It's a story that I think one can learn a lot from, that's my opinion at least Aside from that I hope you enjoyed your holidays! I read the power at the same time you were reading it and a have mixed feelings as well, it really makes you think about gender issues and power dinamics, but the last part is so rush and incomplete. My favorite book of this month is the raven boys

I actually found it rather problematic and found that the author portrayed my country in a really bad way. And whilst I think it’s brilliant that the author wrote a book that caused so much thought and discussion in the world, it wasn’t for me :( Meet cute sounds so lovely though!

She is becoming so fake.. just like geekarella and now with meet cute, she tells is everything she loves about the books and how much she likes it, and then gives it a mediocre rating... she is only saying she likes it becuAse she's getting paid to tell is it's good... wish she would be more honest and tell us if she doesn't like a sponsored book
She really just talked about how she loves the concept. Because it’s an anthology she may have not liked a couple of the stories which affected her rating. That doesn’t mean she can’t love everything else about the book. I don’t think she is fake. And if you want really truthful reviews don’t watch popular booktubers- read blogs.
