Beautiful T140, had a 1973 one. A very good around motorcycle! Just wonderful. 🇬🇧 Love it.

Nice clean Bonnie , looks like it did back in 'the-day' when I rode them , along with BSA's like the A65 you have there . Getting expensive down here in NZ, so I now ride a W650 and a couple of yamaha's : TX650 and 81 XV1000 chain-drive,mono-shock . My addiction for 'two-wheeled-twins ' doesnt seem to wane Dave

Great looking/sounding bike. The painted guards look excellent to me.

I had a 1971 650 tiger. Same color, same sound. Single carb. I miss that bike

Looks great, why do people hate on these? , thinks evolve, they are a good introduction to classic triumph ownership and at an affordable price, be different, everybody has a 60s bonnie yawn

Well, for one they looked a bit differently than this one. Not as pretty. To my recollection they were gold and white. This is not the headlight nacelle that was fitted. Nor were the pea shooter silencers. Nor were the side covers and air filters. I don't recall the tail light housing being painted black to my recollection. Could have been on some. It did have a new double downtube, one piece, (oil in) frame and new forks, and a new drum brake. A drum brake.
The 1973s were better received with the older style front fender, older style headlight nacelle, increased displacement (close to) 750cc, triplex primary chain, addition of 5th gear, front disc brake.

@@bonkeydollocks1879 i suppose because a lot of people didn’t think that the 71s and 72s were an improvement over the previous years, particularly looks wise. They were a disappointment. For example, the bike in this video was altered to look more like the previous models. Even the current Bonnie’s are patterned to look like the pre 71-72s. At least, that’s my take. I hope that this explanation helps.
