here is a few interesting details about the film Kill - the lead actor lakshya who played amrit took 9 months of training for the film and when you see his bare body without his shirt scene, he did not drink water for 3 days before filming that particular scene & it's his debut Movie. about the main villain guy who played fani, his name is raghav juyal and he is a dancer turned actor. 150 litres of fake blood was used in the film and the core idea behind kill came from a real life incident experienced by the director
Every Knife Had A Name - So The Prosthetics Head of The Film, Needed to know the size of the knife 4 months before shooting the film, as he wanted to know whose cheek or eyes this knife is going to go, name of the person and how will it travel from the villains to the heroes and vice versa, and they had to map it 4 months in advance. A Total of 52 different knives were meticulously crafted and each member of the gang had fighting styles tailored to their individual characters and story arcs. the script contained every action movement down to its minute detail & it took 1 and half years to complete the script & sound design took 3 months.
some deleted scenes from the edit & script level -
this one they shot and cut it out, he killed a person with a door, but he did not die, he then had to pull him out, take him to a window and kept punching him till his brains popped off
in wash room sequence there where 2 more people he burnt alive, he kept the zippo lighter inverted and the fluid was flowing down, he kept the door open and when the came near the door, he pushed them inside and threw a burning object and shut the door and they were burnted alive.

Sorry but Kill is not South Asian movie. It is Bollywood movie. Dont generalise it . Bollywood is way famous in 90s from remote middle east ,africa to all over world.

5:50 you only heard about Indian dance number, over the top movies. You should understand more about indian films produced by different indian industries. If you look india from outside youll will see typical garbage films only. For those who were dived into indian films, know what all types of films are there in india.

Bishnu Shrestha fought with 40 robbers on a train from Ranchi to save a girl who was going to be raped in front of everyone on the train, he was an Indian soldier from the Gurkha regiment, He killed three of them in the fight and injured eight others. The remaining robbers feared Bishnu's brave attack and fled the scene. This movie is based on real events with just movie plots.

I agree John wick is OG.
Monkey man is not an Indian movie. (US made, political propoganda)
Kill is losely based on a real story, where a soldier on leave traveling to home on a train fought around 40 robers, killing 4-5, injuring 8, the rest ran away.
please note that kill was not made by same people as John wick, they bought rights to reproduce it in USA and promote this movie.
Another Interesting fact, the fight choreography team was from South Korea.
Checkout the making videos to see how they created a train set to shot the scenes.
    Enjoyed your review.

M a Proud and loud Indian and will say this movie was way better than Monkey man I ve seen both and the movies u guys discussed and movies Tom Yum Goong or Raid or John Wick love them all also all have done justice to their stories I found kill way better than Monkey man because of I ve grew up in this country and our Army has code that do not kill people because we believe in forgiveness that's reason in first half until the Antagonist kills our Protagonists fiance he doesn't kill people but as soon as he does the moral code breaks down and he does what an NSG (National Security Guard) is trained to do just kill the people which was so great to watch and mad respect for makers to go for A rating to this amazing story because without that gore it wouldn't have had that impact as this had it does full justice to show our love and respect also when u do cross line we can violent as anything
