After owning a Tiggo 7 Pro for a year, I have built a personal trust with the Chery brand on its durability and performance. I’m in multiple facebook groups and I’ve seen that there are some warranty complains/claims but fixable and no brands out there had 0 of that. This 5x looks good and feels like a baby or a younger sister of my Tiggo 7 Pro.

Good Day Sir! I am planning to buy my first compact SUV but it's hard for me to decide what is the best, I am choosing between Chery Tiggo 5X pro hybrid, MG ZST, GAC 3emzoom and GAC emkoo. Please enlighten me. TY and God Bless.
We are fans of hybrid tech here so even if it's a mild one in the case of the Tiggo 5X, it already stands out versus your other choices! The ZST sticks out for classic styling, while the GAC pair are peppy and have very sharp looks compared to the Chery and MG. Which is more important for you?
You can buy this for half the price of the Suzuki Jimny 5-door, which has a 1.5L N/A engine.

Can someone tell me why this car goes by the 5x moniker in the Philippines and 4x moniker elsewhere? On that note the car is allright, to me the only car that gives it any real competition for the price will probably never get to this market, im reffering of course to the Suzuki Fronx which is just as feature rich and comes in cheaper than this in other markets.
Marketing reasons is that the car's name is different from other markets.

Mild Hybrid lang ata ito so no hindi sya exempted dapat HEV or PHEV lang ang exemted

FYI - this is exempted to coding. LTO is releasing GREEN Hybrid plates for the TIGGO 5X PRO Mild hybrid. So yeah, enjoy number coding free driving in Metro Manila!
You want to ask again, why exempted?
Answer: LTO doesn't know how to categorize a mild hybrid car so it got carried over to the full hybrid list. A lot of happy owners are now enjoying coding exempt of their mild hybrid Tiggo 5x Pro's.
