Have a 2024 CSE Hybrid cavalry blue and black. Get lots of compliments on looks and color. I love driving it. It handles amazingly well. Felt comfortable driving it from day one.
Second rav4 after a premium full AWD hybrid now a PHEV full too.Never had an issue … a real gem for the family 😊
This is the best-looking trim of the Rav4 Hybrid, especially in this color. The only feature it doesn't have that my 2018 Rav4 Hybrid Limited has is the memory seat function, which I never use anyway. I don't understand why Toyota saw fit to delete a pocket off of the driver's seat back. Otherwise, if I decided to trade in my 2018, this would probably be the model of choice, though I would add the JBL stereo speakers upgrade that's not included in the option package for the vehicle reviewed.
Just bought a fully equipped RAV4 XSE last month, with panoramic sunroof, digital rear view mirror, dashcam and panoramic view camera, makes parking in the garage an easy task.

Bought xse hybrid 2 months ago. Has panoramic moon roof. Everything to love, nothing to complain about. I'm getting 41 mpg in town drivi g.

Since 2019 the RAV4 hybrid has always been rated 40 mpg overall, why is the 2024 only 39?
Drove this XSE and LImited. Went with the Limited for the added feature and smoother ride.
Thanks for the comprehensive overview - I ordered mine last week and am watching videos to tide me over til it gets here in a few weeks. I don't see any mention of the ambient lighting being able to be added for mine, but I also see that on the Toyota site right now, it lists it as being standard on the XSE, so I'm really hoping mine has it!! I've got it in my MINI and it really is a nice touch.

Jeff, I really appreciate you reviewing the 2024 RAV4 Hybrid XSE. Can you do a drive test on one too? I am very interested in learning how well it accelerates on the highway and passing cars.
I just bought one and traded in a 2014 Ford Focus ST with some performance modifications, This thing is definitely not as powerful as the ST but it does have a good amount of power for overtaking, it has almost no lag when flooring it, and has solid torque. I am enjoying mine so far. The 2024 Toyota Venza Hybrid drives the same if you are able to test drive one of those, I went with this model due to it being cheaper fully loaded, and the venza having some odd interior design choices I was not very fond of. Plus this rav4 looks way more sporty than a venza.

I traded in my Subaru Impreza for a 2023 XSE last year, not happy with it.
I’m definitely going back to a Subaru soon.

This has softex seats, the Camry se has cloth seats. Unless the Camry se seats are upgraded for the 2025 model year. Either way Toyota only offers Cloth or softex in all their vehicles.😊
Is that ambient lighting a option that you add when you’re building it?
With this type of all-wheel drive, do you need to have four tires with the same amount of wear as in traditional all-wheel drive?

Enjoy your CZcams channel. I just bought this RAV4 hybrid. Has 75,000 miles on it. Concerned about battery. I hanever been able to get the battery to show full charge. Recently on a trip on the interstate this, in the picture is the best it would do. When it gets to three empty bars from top it starts using from the battery. Is this normal? Is there an adjustment needed for that.? I could figure out how to send the picture. What it is the picture of the engine running the car at 74 mph. Also pulling voltage from the battery with only 4 bars of battery. The battery level never gets higher. I had driven on interstate 30 minutes when picture was taken.

The huge screen and the Infotainment Screen could go in my opinion. The Physical Buttons are a huge +. Hopefully, the Controls and Electronics are not Intrusive. Can I get a Basic New car without all of these Electronics that could break. The more bells and whistles you have in a system. The more that can go wring. A Manual Transmission would be a nice option as well and Head Lights that I can turn off for example. A single switch not a electronic one is what I would like to see.

The fabric part of the seats is a poor design, that’s exactly where something you spill goes. The lane centering and steering assist are dangerous if there is construction and there is no way to completely disable them. You can shut it off each time the car is turned ON but that is annoying if you forget OR come upon unexpected construction or an accident.
The New hybrid crv gives better mpg over the hybrid rav4
