I can't dodge the 50 Blessings prison guy's second charge attack. It has such bullshit tracking and since I'm using keyboard and mouse (apparently you can play this with a controller) I can't as fluidly move around.
i can explain this getting this lvl with an a+ by a quote: insanity is doing the same fucking thing over and over again expecting shit to change -Vass idk if it made sense but it did for me
This level... is not hard to beat after I beat it the first time. I stopped getting as frustrated as I usually do. ....But A+? I played through this ENTIRE level again on Normal Mode... and got a damn B. I thought I did good, but I got a B. I'm trying to find out the score for A+ on this level... EDIT: A+ On this level is at and above the score 280,000. ....It sounds like a lot but I've gotten a few S Ranks by accident first time through them.
The final section of this level is an absolute pain. I have a baton but the prisoners don't have shotguns with which to take out the fat guys. I hate how this game screws you over after putting in so much effort. Update: After dying countless times, I eventually managed to complete it and even got A+.
This level epitomised everything I disliked about HM2: overuse of guns and levels that drag on too long. Also those enemies that charge you were irritating but that's not a fault. Still a great game.
This level is the most painful level to A+. Like fucking hell, i kept it for last because i thought it wouldn't be that hard, and did Takeover A+ instead. After at least an hour of pure pain i got A+. I did a pause because my fingers were painful as fuck. I thought, "Alright, Takeover was the hardest one, Release can't be worse". And I was fucking wrong.
I know this is a 7 year old comment, but hear me out. That last room on take over is the most aneurysm inducing part of the entire game. Didn’t even finish it after like 2 hours
HM2 i think, levels are sometimes a little too long and i really hate the soldier levels but the story and characters make things a little more interesting

I perfer HM1 because the stealth, soundtrack (my favourite song is release. funny how my least favourite level in HM2 is release) and I like the story in HM1 much more. I just like the idea of jacket doing it alone.
