Anno 1800 is a city building real-time strategy video game, developed by Blue Byte and published by Ubisoft, and is set to be launched within April 2019.
It is the seventh game in the Anno series, and returns to the use of a historical setting following the last two titles, Anno 2070 and Anno 2205, taking place during the Industrial Revolution in the 19th century.
Following the previous installment, the game returns to the series' traditional city-building and ocean combat mechanics, but introduces new aspects of gameplay, such as tourism, "blue-printing", and the effects of industrialisation influences on island inhabitants.

Now you can really distinguish different districts with colourful worker houses being in the country and brick ones near the industry or have nightlife districts by theaters and colourful investors by the palace.
The Brick theme gives me more British Vibes than American tbf 🤷🏻

yes, he's talking like red brick would be something particularly north american, while its actually pretty common in all of europe. The architecture still is european, even with the brick skin on it.
Dont forget, you also get different market visual styles which look really neat!

I don't have skyscrapers yet at my game but I wish they would also be different. I didn't really like it that all houses look the same, I'm happy that it's different now, but the skyscrapers are all still teh same color. I'll defnetely get that one tho cause once I managed to get all the resources up I'll make my cities more beautiful

Red brick is not necessarily American. Totally used in Britain.
This is what I was going to say. The artisan dark roof houses look like those in the UK, not America at all.
Farmers, workers and artisans were already beautiful, so i don't think i'll change them. But being able to change engineers and investors is the best thing ever! i didn't like the way they looked originally, so changing them to "Brick" or nightlife is a bless

Those brick houses aren't just American. You can find those all along coastal northern Europe from Britain, over the continental North Sea coast to the Baltic Sea.

My personal feeling is beauty stuff should be free as it doesn’t change gameplay. If they ad actual new gameplay content I have no problem spending my money’s! Just my 2 cents. 😉💰
