I made a quick master of this using the CZcams audio. I think they left it quiet because the vocoder used in the original is a little rough. (vocoder is the thing that sounds like a robot that sings with her). The mix was pretty decent but a little flat -- sounds quite a bit fuller and better with the mids set to a wider stereo image. Overall the dynamic picture was flat so somebody DID master it, or at least normalize it when they bounced it out. I don't think it was maximized, though. It does sound much better, louder though. Especially with a semi-decent master. *toss toss*

I'm so ashamed I hadn't heard of Yebba until 2022! What I'm NOT ashamed to say is I am thoroughly obsessed with her talent and artistry. The control of her instrument is by far the most impressive I have ever heard. I can listen to the same song a dozen times and hear something more incredible than the time before. While I have great respect for many vocalists, I can say without reservation, this young lady stands alone in a class set aside exclusively for her. Yebba is on repeat EVERYWHERE I go! I pray she has a long life and long career. 🙏🏿

I'm crying when I listened to this song for the first time, and I looked for the meaning of this song and found out Yebba wrote it for her mom, which I cried cuz I miss my mom too.

I like how every colouring is backed by emotions in her singing. Such talented singers often just show off their technical skills, and sound like music box dolls.

Abbey, I've been following you for about a year now. Had the same reaction as most people do, especially if the first thing they hear is 'My Mind', and then 'Evergreen'. Surprise, wonder, and heartache. It's rare to hear someone that has a tremendous vocal ability, the wisdom to know how to use that voice, and then add emotional layers to tell a story.
As many others have noted, I'm so sorry about your experience with your mom's passing, and other traumas that you've experienced. Thank you for allowing us into that vulnerability with your music. I wish only the greatest success, and the happiest life for you.
