Hi Great video review Prakash. I have ordered this dashcam last week and got it delivered today. Not yet installed but what is the red open wire in rear camera used for?
The red cable can be connected via rear light so that whenever you put the car in reverse the rear camera gets activated however i would not suggest you to get the same connected

@@prakashparadisee Bro, i have installed the cam by myself its pretty easy, but somehow videos are not getting recorded continuously when I start driving. Do i need to press OK button every time before starting the drive? or there is any workaround for automatic video recording? As I have not found any from witcom pro app as well. Loop recording I have kept 3 min by default. but not getting recording for 3 mins. whenever I press ok button it starts recording. Why it is happening?

Bro if you press ok the device will get into pause the video recording mode!
When we power on the device, we don't need to press any button...just focus on blue light blinking!!
If it's blinking it's recoding
I kept on pressing ok button and it kept on pausing the video!

XUV provides that feature! However in Astor it has not been given!
The camera quality we all know how bad it is!
But point is right! If you are providing camera why not add the same camera with a recording function and we get superb dashcam inbuilt

Does this mean we have to find a local car Electrician to install the rear view camera? Because everyone cannot wire beneath the rubber tubing all the way to the back. Secondly, if this is installed on the windscreen, the cig lighter power cable will keep hanging?
