    This was another wonderful painting lesson and interview. I loved them both! Kathryn seems very genuine. I really enjoyed the little tidbits of information strewn throughout the painting time, and learning more about her. Loved it! 💟👍

    You're a great instructor and very entertaining. You're also self effacing and humble, which is really appealing. OK I'm going to be quiet now.

    Kathryn, you are a riot. Your dry humor is so much fun, and your painting is GAW-jus. :):). Every time I paint I think I'll be hearing you say "brown happens".

    Oh my goodness. She soldered on with that slick canvas and the thick first layer of paint. Kind of hard to paint alla prima. Nice lady! I agree with her finishing paintings in the studio and rarely giving up on a painting. Almost everything can be made beautiful.

    I don’t know, I like raw umber. Especially useful in portraits. Makes a good neutral dark that harmonizes both with warms and cools.

    I wonder witch software did you use on the ipad to make a grid on the picture ?

    • @sierragold
      @sierragold Před 4 lety

      You can pull the image into photoshop and it will automaticcaly lay a grid over the image in whatever kind of measured sections you would like. You have to set ot up in the preferences menu, then activate it under the view/show tab.
