Damn didn't think id get to feel the pain i felt when i lost my cat again it hurts worse even more now then the day i lost her i lost her in my arms that day was one of the hardest says of my life

A mountain lion is highly unlikely to attack a group of people under normal circumstances. Perhaps if it feels cornered or is protecting its young. But an attack on a group like that - I'd want to check it for rabies.

And there are cases IRL where it has happened, but it's rare. If it did happen, I'd consider rabies a possibility worth investigating. If I'd been the ranger who responded, I'd want to look into that.
I wish my old pup passed away as a hero, instead of cancer and a week of pain. Hims was the bested friend a person could've ever asked for.
