Some people are not tire kickers, they see what they want are willing to buy at a certain price so they tell you the price. If the price is right they go down to take a look at the merchandise if the merchandise is right the deal is done.

The largest turo host in Colorado is JC, a good friend of my wife. He currently has 35 or 36 vehicles, all less than 5 yrs. old. JC has $100,000 SUVs to mid-size sedan costing less than 50k but the vast majority of his fleet are SUVs. He only buys new cars. There are two types of turo hosts. This girl in the video belongs to "economy host" and if your target customers are cost-conscious renters, you do not want to buy newer cars. On the other hand, if your target customers are tourists from other states/countries, you want high-end SUVs like JC. In terms of profit, there is no comparison. Targeting out of state tourists are always way more profitable.

Not sure how big a city your in, but here in Phoenix turo hosts with many cars keep them in parking garages. When you rent from them, you never see the host in person. Typically within a short distance of the airport here. If they only have a couple of cars though, they're probably at there residence. I've picked up from both kinda places.
I wouldn't. The electric part would already weed out many potential customers, then with only 100 mi range. But if your in a market that doesn't have many electric car options on turo, then you might have something.

Yes and no. Lula limits driving of the cars only for business relative activities. ie... getting it washed, service
