I’ve only played Session for the last 6+ months, so was excited to play this new park, but quickly realised I couldn’t actually play the game anymore, lol
I only have console. I still might try it. Even though I HATE how this game feels compared to session. No shade I bought XL waaaay before and played for a year straight. I am still wondering why. I own all the skate games...
Yea vanilla xl isnt really that fun, if the console guys got stats menu nobody would play on default, maybe only new players that need tons of airtime to pull off even the basic of tricks.

Somehow comforting that they at least made it console playable with the size. If they added stat menus they wouldnt have to make everything so big
The outside part of the map has some cool secret stuff, like a mall that’s sign says “secret” and “Coming Soon” it’s really big when you go out of bounds.
You can really see that easy day made street spots out of bounds that don't work they should have finished the whole thing
@@Shinigamix666 they probably will. I’m tired of getting on easy day. I’ve done my fair share of it lol They made a decent console game. It’s more fun than skate or Tony Hawk for realistic skating. It was $40 and I have over 200 hours on console. That’s $0.16 an hour. I got my moneys worth lol
@@CZinDC i have like 2000 hours explored Every corner of every map even bought the dlc saw the uprise and downfall of the console version they had it going and they literally gave up for like a year but they re going in the right direction we can hope that they release the mall soon since ok the new map there is a sign that says coming soon and a mall so we can hope. The only defense for easy day is that they lost people

Im sure those spots blocked off by the invisible wall are skate-able, you just need to glitch outside the map with the object dropper, don't really know though, like others, i haven't picked up XL since December, ive been playing much more sessions

Definitely a nicely designed park, but would have been really nice to have some spots around the map that you can actually skate - even exactly the way it is as a bit of an afterthought. I love skating the sort of stuff you wouldn't conventionally skate, like little spots around the edges of a map.

Texas has some of the funnest parks I've skated at, so glad my homestate is getting love in a video game 🤘🏿🤘🏿. This park looks fun too, might take a trip to go soon
So, I don't understand why Easy Day releases their OWN maps on the mod browser??? Why not just... Add it to the game?? Under the Official Tab??

@@flosonasty7320 not how it works? they are the producers, the COMMUNITY makes modded maps which they allow, it’s made in unreal engine and then converted over. You can’t just make a map and then it be in a section of the game. Think about it, the game would need constant updates it’ll become too big and too full of terrible maps people have made for fun
my guess would it’s easier to add it there on console instead of having to get it approved by microsoft and that but could be wrong

I'm on xbox and it actully skates really good, I do wish some of the street spots where skatable but I didn't really expect em to be for the map
You can skate them if you do out of bounds glitch

Between Chisholm and Dickies Fort Worth is definitely one of the nicest places to skate in the US besides Cali. No wonder Neen and John Hill live there haha.

The banks and quarters skate really bad on console. I am used to sessions so not the best at XL anymore but I keep just launching out of everything

im local to this park, and sure its a good recreation, but my GOD is this way too big compared to how it is in person, its like twice the size!

If it's official, why is it not in the official maps side with Easy Day High School etc. It's with the rest of the mod and downloaded maps. Love the map though.
Yeah idk why Easy Day put their maps in the mod browser, I think it’s to avoid releasing an update for each new map maybe?
