He's hall of fame and I'm sure other running backs and defensive player's who faced him will agree. His vision and footwork was top tier and he was tough.
The fact that the game was 6-0 late in the 4th brings tears to my eyes. Loved old school defensive football. Helmet to helmet hits are terrible and should be penalized. But shout out to reggie Williams tho! Lmao. Went to high school wit that fool.
Dang I just realized when the jags got MJD, Taylor was entering his 9th and 10th season….. I did not realize he was that old playing with MJD. Even though he had bad luck with injuries, but he still played for a long time, especially for a running back.!
Yal kids gon learn about Fred T today. They aint lying on the podcast when they talk about Fred. His whole career dude was one of the best but never got as much media attention
Let’s not discount the fact TP43 looks like he can’t even move his right arm. He’s still getting into every pile. Fred Taylor is an incredible talent. If he wasn’t oft injured I’m sure he’d be spoken bout more
I’m not sure if it was the same year, but Taylor was hurt, and Greg Jones took over and gave the Steelers defense some fits. I mean it with all respect because iron sharpens iron.
I worked with Vince manuwai’s dad during college, when Vince was still playing for the jags. I worked as a cart guy at a country club and Vince’s dad was a dish washer there. He was even bigger than Vince. He was always nice and cool to hang out with. Super humble guy. he obviously did not need the money, but was there just to hang out with everyone. Random times he would have tickets for the staff.
Fred Taylor was Definitely underrated alot of people don't give that guy the credit he deserves because he played for the jaguars honestly I think he was better then LaDainian Tomlinson, Jerome bettis,Warrick dunn, Eddie George Fred Taylor had it all cut backs stiff arm and I've even seen him run defensive backs over the man was a monster Definitely deserves to be in the hall of fame.
❤️ I worked with his dad when Vince was still playing for the jags back in the day. His dad was even bigger than Vince. Vince was so soft spoken. Such a nice humble guy. Every now and then Vince would show up at the country club where I worked with his dad and would bring tickets to the staff.
@@Tone22845that’s ignorant to say cuz he literally tackled him in this game 😂 Troy Polamalu is one of the best Safeties ever. Fred is a beast tho… him and Troy have similar demeanors
Who won this matchup? 🤔

He had the feet of a small back.
That spin move on Ryan was nasty
That Monday night Intro though 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 bruhh they straight regressing just like madden 🙃
Lol Fred needs to pull this up on the Pivot 😂💯
Fred Taylor is legendary. He gave my team the blues when they were in the AFC North.
You know that suit was 3 times his actual size. Man I don’t miss that era.
I miss it but not the big ass clothes in that era 😂💀
@@FordFitness334 that’s what I meant actually. The fashion choices were horrible.
Now guys wear stuff 3x too small

@David Irish yep like the rams patriots superbowl a couple of years ago I loved it I'm 25 that's the football I grew up watching
How was he in high school? I wish he got to play longer for the jags.
1:22 is what Fred Taylor was talking about in bussing with the boys 😭😭😭😭
Byron Leftwich!!!!! This brings back memories
He was highly disregarded as not being one of the best RB’s when he was healthy💪🏾… He was different on that field people!😩
Fred was amazing. I'm proud to say first time I heard the saying "Man Crush" was when I was raving on n on about Fred Taylor
He was a beast. H.O. F for sho. I seen that in Florida. Last real running back 💯
Fred Taylor was a beast 100% the best running back of all time
My favorite RB of all time!
The best of all time? Not even anywhere close lol, letting your emotions control your ‘logic’ lol pathetic
@Kiingme30 tons of guys before him lol

Ayoooooooo that was the littest player introduction both teams
B Leftwich and Joey Porter
Love the Dave chappelle “byaaaaaaaah” reference
They needa add these intros back to ESPN 🤣
The Big Nasty D on live television is crazy work
That boy Fred so smooth
Most underrated of all time.
Fred Taylor 💪💪💪
Many would call this a boring game, but it was actually epic.
Yal kids gon learn about Fred T today. They aint lying on the podcast when they talk about Fred. His whole career dude was one of the best but never got as much media attention
Too bad he was on a bad team his whole career.
He was insanely talented and always productive. It’s crazy how people won’t give him the recognition he’s earned
He stayed hurt too
@@evillamar372 he played hurt and still put up numbers.
Fred Taylor needs to be in HOF

Fred Taylor is an incredible talent. If he wasn’t oft injured I’m sure he’d be spoken bout more
Joey porter did all them jokes just to get abused all night 😅🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Fred was a straight dawg
Fred Taylor should be HOF
He gave Troy that work tho
Only on one play, but tbh Troy was playing with an injury to his entire right arm and shoulder.
I’m not sure if it was the same year, but Taylor was hurt, and Greg Jones took over and gave the Steelers defense some fits. I mean it with all respect because iron sharpens iron.
It’s crazy how well NFL 2k5 simulated the NFL… now we got ea 🤦🏿♂️
Joey Porter dropping Chappelle “Byah” is hilarious!!!
FRED IS THE GOAT!!! 🐐 💯
Please stop
Steelers defense was stacked 😳
Can you add the full game??
Byaaaah!
J ville always owned Pittsburgh
He should be a HOF. I think sometimes if you played in a smaller market the media doesn't give enough credit or promote you.
For real it’s not like the Jaguars were a bottom level team. They were a decent team back then.
Fred a hof
2:09 jesus christ i thought this was ADRIAN PETERSON on this run. Look at the foot work
Fred was a monster bro
Do one with Freaky Fred v Channing as well
Fred Taylor was a beast but Homies OLine was monsters bruh, them dudes from Hawaii was walking the shit out of guys when they would pull, holy shit.

Looking back, can’t believe they didn’t start Jimmy Smith
B Leftwich swagged up
Fred was THAT Dude!
I think Joey Porter got some the night before doing the intros. He’s feeling pretty good.
The Steelers intro 😂😂😂
Buuuaaaaaahhhhh
Was Joey Porter making fun of Howard Dean? I remember that?

Man Freddy T was a dog frfr 1 of the best to ever do it
Fred was a problem
Byron leftwitch looks a little like Magic Johnson a little bit.
Bro Freddy T was different
I think this was after Ben crashed his motorcycle..
This was the year when the Jags won the Superbowl
Freaky Fred
Unkle Fred got off
Man Fred is tge truth! If he had speed he would've been OP
Fred ran a 4.3 and would bust out 80 yard runs on the regular, look up the man’s highlights. He was OP
This man ran a 4.29
Lol Fred was fast too! He doesn’t look like it because he runs so smooth and he was big
Byron leftwich was sorry as a QB as an OC
Man jags really dodged a bullet by not hiring him and hiring Doug!
Trop polamalu played with 1 arm, #STATTHAT
