There’s always someone saving up their coughs to interrupt a beautiful performance
It is a pity interrupting the coughs by singing😃
One of the best performances. I love the music of john dowland.
Great, amazing. Thanks for sharing =)
Flawless voice.
Superb countertenor!
That was absolutely stunning!
Beautiful in every way.
Beautiful performance Dmitry! John Dowland's music is beautiful.
È bellissima! Grazie!
Hypnotic. Thank you. (12/17/20)
Conmovedora interpretación de un formidable grupo y absolutamente sorprendente actuación del contratenor.
For I that do approve of this performance.
wonderful. Thank you.
Come again!
Sweet love doth now invite
Thy graces that refrain
To do me due delight,
To see, to hear, to touch, to kiss, to die,
With thee again in sweetest sympathy.
Come again!
That I may cease to mourn
Through thy unkind disdain;
For now left and forlorn
I sit, I sigh, I weep, I faint, I die
In deadly pain and endless misery.
All the day
The sun that lends me shine
By frowns do cause me pine
And feeds me with delay;
Her smiles, my springs that makes my joys to grow,
Her frowns the Winters of my woe.
All the night
My sleeps are full of dreams,
My eyes are full of streams.
My heart takes no delight
To see the fruits and joys that some do find
And mark the storms are me assign'd.
Out alas,
My faith is ever true,
Yet will she never rue
Nor yield me any grace;
Her eyes of fire, her heart of flint is made,
Whom tears nor truth may once invade.
Gentle Love,
Draw forth thy wounding dart,
Thou canst not pierce her heart;
For I, that do approve
By sighs and tears more hot than are thy shafts
Did tempt while she for triumph laughs.
Passion ...sincerity ...musicality for D. Sinkovsky ... and the energy of John Dowland...
Bravo well done
Super! Hut ab! Echt fein gemacht!
Dmitry❤
I didn't read the description before watching and I wasn't expecting a countertenor. Maybe it would be a good idea to put a warning on screen, I almost had a heart attack when started singing 😂😂
Same here. 😂
Absolutely Romantic
I was initially put off by the celloist's vibrato.
But i still enjoyed the performance and everyone's musicianship.
I get emotional
Now THAT'S a countertenor.
🤣😅😅😅I had no idea he would be singing soprano!
Counter-tenor.
Sans voix!
Bravo !
👏👏👏👏👏🥰🥰
Check my hair…
I find this performance irritating. Cello part is wholly lacking in rhythmic precision. This is not the Elgar Cello Concerto!. Sinkovsky - as always - brilliant!
Навіщо цѧπи заδρуднили своїми ратицями ще й це?
А δодαй їх πραнці ποїли! - все зіпсує, κляτα χудοδα!
A vibrant timbre but I would have liked to hear more subtleties of interpretation to lift the rendition from a tendancy towards the mundane. Also i didnt detect the presence of tiny crescendo which would have served well given the repetitive nature of this gorgeous song. However, what really put me off this singer was his 'generous' body movements; most irritating; more a circus clown than music interpreter.
Everything is very monotonous. If you take away the instruments, it turns out that the soloist sings exactly the same.
Dowland's cello plays like it's Purcell. It's a different style, a different era.
