How should I choose the appropriate intravenous fluid in my patient?

This lecture summarized the main differences between types of fluids including (colloids: albumin - gelatins - starch colloids), (crystalloids: balanced and un-balanced solutions). The lecture provided the most recent evidence and guidelines for choice of fluids in different types of patients (critically ill patients - surgical patients) and different scenarios (resuscitation phase - maintenance phase - drug dilution).
