Bit late to the party, but i think i found a solution for car "staggering" after the recording.
Lock the fps to 30 and turn off vsync, this solved it for me atleast.

when i press the Menu button to activate the drone it pauses my game. also in CM the pause option is not assigned to any key in the controller but still it is pausing it. any fix for this?

You can just use Drone Cam to get Clips while the car is stationary 🙌🏽

how do you save footage after recording. Do you use nvidia shadowplay and record whole screen or there is export button in assetto corsa replays?
Sadly there is no export option so you have to screen record it

For me the camtool only records “rotate” movement, it doesn’t record me going up and down with the drone cam nor does it record me moving the camera and i don’t know how to fix this. Anyone has the same problem?

Its because of the csp version older versions have no problems

Late reply but use an input emulator/remapper of sorts, allows you to map certain buttons on controller to other buttons (even ones that aren't on your controller) and then u could probs use the DOF feature

Yes I believe you can set position and time offsets in one of the tabs after the spline is recorded

@@Insomnialennsomnia fixed it had to go into my assetto_corsa and had to change my free cam from a 0 to a 1

Yeah same here - this method doesn't work for me. I've tried it 4+ times.
Was having the same issue and after hours of trying I switched to an older version of CSP (0.173)... seems to of done the job. Let me know if this helps. Leaving drone cam activated and disabling heading lock after recording also seemed to effect playback
What software you use to record the clip, I use OBS and my fps drops like crazy

I use OBS too but what maybe gets you more Frames is using nvidia or amd recorder depends which graphics card u have
Use a specific codec. NVENC if you use a nvidia card.. that's how shadowplay works, using NVENC so you literally have no noticeable fps hit, unless you record in high bitrate to a slow drive.

Great tutorial! I have an issue with CM, is not showing the apps in the app windows... I have installed both apps but simply can't find them. Also the camera editor gone too. I really don't know what to do, i reinstall all the stuff (CM, Assetto Corsa, CSP, etc) but still having the same problem. Can you help me?
Try searching in your settings for apps and tick the checkboxes to enable them

Need some help here, I drop the zip into Content Manager, The Camtool 2 install successfully. And under SETTINGS>ASSETTO CORSA>APPS>Activated apps: Cam Tool 2 (checkbox is checked). Also under SETTINGS>APPS, I don't see Cam Tool 2 icon appear on the left side (App list). Is this normal? I only see Sol related apps and other apps appeared. Then I open replay, and I am not able to find the Cam Tool 2 icon on the right edge sidebar. My Content Manager version is 0.8.2393. (x86) Did anyone have the same experience as mine? This comment was posted on 2022MAR19.
If I find sometthing Ill let you know this definetly isnt normal. Maybe try to install it manually and not through CM

@@yosk0bg14 You might have to unzip the files before dropping them into content manager. I had the same issue with the Drone Cam but this fixed it. Hope this helps!
