    Sweet camera. I was saving for the Sony NX80. The two rings, big battery, and f1.8 aperture means I will be getting the X2000 instead. That big battery is pure gold.

      Did you got the x2000 over the nx80? And if so are you satisfied with the choice? I might be doing the same, thanks!

    • @artistjoh
      @artistjoh Před 3 lety +1

      DOM Not yet (money, money, money :) but I have become more certain of choosing the X2000 because the NX80 and related cameras from Sony have an unfortunate tendency for the zoom ring to operate in observable “steps” in certain circumstances. As an all round package the X2000 seems to be an excellent choice.

    • @PlacesToVisit
      @PlacesToVisit Před 4 lety +1

      The Canon has a 15x optical zoom while the Panasonic has a 24x optical zoom. Panasonic can shoot in 4K 10 bit internally. Panasonic is a little lighter.

      @@PlacesToVisit so I asume you bet the Panasonic is the better camera, even with a smaller sensor

    • @PlacesToVisit
      @PlacesToVisit Před 4 lety

      Klausjp Lamers Depends. In theory, a larger sensor should give you better dynamic range but on the other hand, the image still records to 8 bit vs 10 bit of the Panasonic when shooting in 4K up to 30p. With that said, in the 4K 60p mode, it’s only 8 bit in the Panasonic I believe so in theory, the Canon should give better quality in that mode.
      Bigger chip should also give you better low light but the lens starts at f/2.8 on the Canon and f/1.8 on the Panasonic.
      For sure it would be good to see reviews comparing the picture quality of the 2 since right now, it’s a toss up.

    This was an ok video, but the interviewer was terrible. He kept stammering, stumbling, asking the wrong questions and interrupting. I would loved to have seen a different presentation/review other than this because the interviewer kept interrupting. Those interruptions destroys the flow and jumbles the information that the guest presenter had to talk about... I'm very much interested in the Panasonic HC-X1500 for many reasons. But it's mostly because of its price-tag. It's one of the most affordable professional camcorder units available.
