very good interview .
Great new camera !
Good, perfect for News and Media teams, and video teams, Outlets around the world, even Smaller countries.
Sweet camera. I was saving for the Sony NX80. The two rings, big battery, and f1.8 aperture means I will be getting the X2000 instead. That big battery is pure gold.
Did you got the x2000 over the nx80? And if so are you satisfied with the choice? I might be doing the same, thanks!
DOM Not yet (money, money, money :) but I have become more certain of choosing the X2000 because the NX80 and related cameras from Sony have an unfortunate tendency for the zoom ring to operate in observable “steps” in certain circumstances. As an all round package the X2000 seems to be an excellent choice.
Great 2nd camera
Very good.
Hey! Nice review! I just bought the HC-1500 I have a hard time making the 4k clips running smoothly in Premiere v22.0, any trouble your side? any tip?
Do any of these have a timecode input?
Edit: ohhhh... saw right at the end that timecode is mentioned! Has it. Niiiice
I'm considering upgrading from my HC-X1000 as my primary CZcams camera. This looks like a nice option with better auto-focus and face detection.
How is the battery if you bought it now after 2 years? I will buy it but outside is going to be hard if it only does 1.5 hours. Wish I could use a power bank
I have a LUMIX GH5s and was thinking of switching to a camcorder, like the HC-X2000, so is this a good camcorder for like filmmaking/CZcams use for a small CZcamsr?
It is good, but needs more light. So if you have more dynamic style of shooting it is much more handy.
No mention of Picture Profiles?
I just bought a Panasonic HC-X1500. I'm trying to find out how to do the camera set up to do the live streaming on Facebook and CZcams. Very small, light weighted and powerful pro video camera.
Dee Dee
so how do you liek it? how is streaming?
@@SamoScopom I just got the information about how to save the stream key into an SD card and upload it into the camera. It was very hectic to type into the camera. Other than that, the camera itself is a good one. It is not a high-end camera, keep that in mind.
@@thomaskalladan4065 thx for the reply
@@thomaskalladan4065 I heard you can also paste the stream key in thorough a mobile app. Is this so?
Does it shoot in S-Log?
What about newtek NDI available? Cx10
Can you use Panasonic VW-HU1 on the GH5 or the Lumix model, is it compatible?
As far as I see it is not comptible, will work only on this specific camcorders.
@@personalview7388 It has the handle grip so its the perfect combo for good audio and handling! Thanks
this or a canon x400 with an 1 inch sensor but no livestream , any pros and cons
The Canon has a 15x optical zoom while the Panasonic has a 24x optical zoom. Panasonic can shoot in 4K 10 bit internally. Panasonic is a little lighter.
@@PlacesToVisit so I asume you bet the Panasonic is the better camera, even with a smaller sensor
Klausjp Lamers Depends. In theory, a larger sensor should give you better dynamic range but on the other hand, the image still records to 8 bit vs 10 bit of the Panasonic when shooting in 4K up to 30p. With that said, in the 4K 60p mode, it’s only 8 bit in the Panasonic I believe so in theory, the Canon should give better quality in that mode.
Bigger chip should also give you better low light but the lens starts at f/2.8 on the Canon and f/1.8 on the Panasonic.
For sure it would be good to see reviews comparing the picture quality of the 2 since right now, it’s a toss up.
What about built in NDs ?
selectable 1/4, 1/16, 1/64 ND filter,
Does anyone know if this camera has HLG or V Log?
They have 10-bit mode, and considering that it is 1/2.5" sensor they don't need much more.
I've been watching this camera for some time now... why would someone want a camcorder like this CX10 over something like the GH5?
It is much simpler to operate, much better handling in hand, smooth zoom, good DoF, integrated audio part, SDI and so on :-)
fuck the gh5 excuse my french. GH5 doesnt even have zoom in n out buttons
Rs.
X1500- my next camcordr- I have HC-VX1 but hate the colors and image quality.
cx 10 or cx350. I shoot music videos, small business promotional videos
I am in the same boat. Did you end up pulling the trigger on 1 or the other(CX-10 / CX-350)?
When would you use 50hz compared to 59? Nothing in stupid manual
telling you why, when, nothing . Computer can't read MOV files or
HEVC. How do you fix that ? Software for this? Computer doesn't read anything recorded using 50hertz either. Nightmare.
Open the files up in VLC.
@@matthines2002 What is VLC?
is it a format converter type thing? and do you lose quality?
@@SteveBurk VLC is a free downloadable media player. You’ll be able to watch the files in there with no loss of quality. You should be able to open the files up in an editing program. I’m on Mac and some of the codecs don’t work with QuickTime viewer. (1080p 60fps 422 10bit and some others) but will play in VLC and import and transcode fine in FCPX.
@@matthines2002 I use Filmora on Windows 10. Will have to test it
This was an ok video, but the interviewer was terrible. He kept stammering, stumbling, asking the wrong questions and interrupting. I would loved to have seen a different presentation/review other than this because the interviewer kept interrupting. Those interruptions destroys the flow and jumbles the information that the guest presenter had to talk about... I'm very much interested in the Panasonic HC-X1500 for many reasons. But it's mostly because of its price-tag. It's one of the most affordable professional camcorder units available.
