    I’m in Puerto Escondido now just for vacation and I’m having such a great time. Jardín Zicarú has been my favorite. I definitely feel safe here as a female solo traveler.

    I loved this video!! I spent a week in Puerto Escondido last summer during my Mexico trip and I absolutely loved it, it was my favorite place of all the places I visited in Mexico and I really hope I can go back one day. We actually had breakfast at Cafe Losodeli one morning and it was so good, but back then I wasn't aware of the big digital nomad scene haha. Their accommodation isn't bad at all, that's a really good deal I think, especially with good wifi! 😍

    I just got back from 3 months in Mexico and I visited Puerto Escondido, very nice place. I love Mexico. I was wondering what you do for your remote work, and since you were immersed in a digital nomad community, perhaps you know of other good remote jobs, or companies I could apply to? I'm in the US now, but I would really like to move to Mexico. I'm a writer/editor, but that's a pretty flooded field for remote work with so many people claiming to be bloggers and writers. I've also tried to teach English on-line when I was living in Thailand, but that seemed to be a lot of silly videos and hoops to jump through, even with a TEFL ESL cert. Thanks, I like your video. BTW, Hablo Espanol. :)

      Hi!! So I make money in a variety of ways online, the main two being freelance social media and branding work (primarily for business executives) and content creation here on CZcams and Instagram. I have tons of remote work tips on my Instagram and on my website www.crosbygracetravels.com/start-here. I recommend starting there!

    Hi Crosby! Thanks so much for putting this together, it was super helpful! A few lingering questions I have- 1. Did the coworking space have a laundry facility? Or was there one nearby? 2. Would you be able to get by here if you don’t speak much Spanish? I learned in high school but that’s the extent of it 😅

    • @CrosbyGraceTravels
      @CrosbyGraceTravels  Před 2 lety +3

      Hi Bri!! Awesome questions - I totally forgot to include laundry! No, Losodeli does not have a laundry facility but there’s one right across the street for 50 pesos/ kilo and they have it dried and folded when you pick it up the next day. In terms of Spanish, you can get around pretty easily in la punta and rinconada with a few basic Spanish phrases. I do recommend taking lessons there as they’re affordable and really great from what I’ve heard!

    Ask about the succesfull business called Beca Surf. I did his webpages, it was a language school and acredited for international transferable credits. The website was translated into about 5 or so languages. Beat Salzmann had more people that wanted to go to his school he could fill every apartment, hotel and rental home in the area. So the police came, same who extorted me, I lived their for over a decade. 2009.2011. Anyways Beat was extorted, I have the pics of those involved and cars they drove. Well I saw him one day at sunset and he said he wanted a veideo security system that surrounds his house like mine, because he was just extorted. I shown him pics I had in my car and he identified the same people. I said after a quick sunset surf i would pass by. So i got home sat down and was out like a light. It was 11.30 PM. So I went up calle las brisas and passed his place by a block. I cirled around and passed his place. A long haired heavy guy was leaning against the wall near the entrance and he walked toward a white van with the Miniterio Publico with the RED EYEY. This heavy guy who hangs at The Piedra left an imprint on the wall of blood as his entire shirt, body was blood soaked. When I spoke to BEat he stated they knew he was having a wire transfer (all police know how much money you have because your accountant and bank manager tell them). Beat said he went to the army base and bought a revolver... highly illegal to buy a firearm anywhere in Mexico except the Armory in the D.F. I had license for ten firearms. Beat said if they come to his home again he would shoot them. Anyways When I saw that I realized something was very wrong. SO I kept going and went home. I was busy the next morning and stated to another murderer from the states Eric from the Rinconada, told me my friend died, comitted suicide!!. People in the next room the next day said they heard nothing. I saw pics by consulate volunteers who went to the morgue to identify the body but no one was their. Beat had no visible head injury from suicide. He had broken arm and smashed hand by police who forced him to give them his bank password. No time to finish, anyways a day or two later the morgue doctor called the consulate volunteers.... BEat at that time had his head blown off!!!! in the mortuary. I am pretty sure the consulate volunteers did not tell the Embassy he had no injury on their first visit. they will let you die
