- An outstanding weekend out In the Willson's Creek Wilderness with Robert, Issac, Blake, Jim, and Trail Dog Misty absolutely sending it down some of the gnarliest terian in the Southeastern United States!!! The trails at the Brown Mountain OHV park are certainly no joke and contain some of the fastest singletrack I have ever ridden. Its hard to go wrong when paired with some Wilson's Creek classics like Sinkhole, Woodruff, and 21 Jumps!!! I’ll be out here for my bday weekend April 5-7. Plan on riding Kitsuma day 1 and they Spencer and fletcher day 2. Hopefully have time to throw either berm peak, kanuga or rock creek last day if time allows.

Chris you gotta let one of your boys wear the GoPro so we can see you ride. You think this is the best spot in NC? And any trips planned this year? I wanna check out that new park Rattlesnake in SC this fall. Been looking at Elevated Trail Design's Instagram of it being built. Looks insane!
Maybe one day we’ll try that out! Brown mountain is definitely one of the most unique places I have ever ridden too! I also can’t wait for rattlesnake to open!!

Have you guys rode trail 10 at Brown? Ive only rode it on motos but its would probably be the best trail there on a MTB its off 9 towards the top spits you back out on trail 1.
I have done it once, nine is better imo, everything out there is super cool though!

They truly are something special! And I don’t run strava, but almost everything is mapped if you know where to look!

Any recommendations on climbing roads to access the Woodruff and 21 jumps area or did you shuttle it?
On this route we just climbed up the trails themselves! They are shuttalable via the Forrest service roads if you want though!
So is this the Wilson Creek area north of Asheville in the Day one?

Its definitely a tough climb, extra hard at the moment with the soft dirt from the recent re-surface on trail 1.

The trail was normal. Stop going to every bike park and saying the same level of compliment
A few of the trails were designed with access to motorized vehicles and are a lot faster/feature more like choice then what I’m used to! In addition, some of those larger rock features are not very common in the southeastern United States! The ride was very different/unique in my opinion, and you are entitled to your own falsehoods! 😃
