I work at a casino and we were told that if a player asks how to play the hand we always tell them the basic strategy play.

I hate when it’s 110 degrees out and they want me to wear a suit to go to some rooftop bar. Like, I’m going to pay you $20 a cocktail plus tip up there. Just take my money. Don’t make me go back to my hotel to change clothes. Also, you can’t “mess up the table” at blackjack. Whatever you do doesn’t matter. Ask Anthony Curtis of Las Vegas Advisor. He’s the expert.

Re: minors sitting at slot machines. I've seen cases where families with children were sitting and watching sporting events on the big screens at a sports book, or especially, watching the National Finals Rodeo on a big screen somewhere in the casino, and security guards told them that they'd have to go somewhere else away from the casino floor, because kids weren't allowed to sit anywhere on the casino floor, slot machine or not.
yeah i guess sitting anywhere in the casino isnt allowed for minors
From what I know, minors can *travel* through the casino floor, but they may not *loiter* or *stay* on the casino floor.

Another rule, no business in nevada cant stop you from having a concealed carry firearm even if its posted on the doors. You cannot be arrested or fined for it. However they can ask you to leave and if you refuse they can get you for trespassing

Dealer help might be per property rule because i know many casinos I have been in where the dealer will help but stated in a way so that if you lose and this is where the rule came about you could say dealer told me what to do most times dealer will say, basic strategy states do this or the odds are this some will say it's your choice but most of the time other players will help also.

I didn't know about some of these rules, especially about the camels. 😅 As for weed smoking, I don't think people follow that rule much these days. Every time I'm at the Cosmo or Aria, I smell weed all the time.

As a longtime resident, I know about the prohibition against weed consumption in public. I also know that if you take an opaque drinking cup and stick a disposable vape pen into the hole where the straw goes, you can take a toke off of the vape pen and it looks exactly like you're taking a sip through a straw.
A vape pen is so mild you can smoke that out in the open basically anywhere people can smoke nicotine vapes. Can’t tell the difference unless you get up on them.
Every time I go to Vegas, which I just came back from Vegas last week, I smoke weed on the streets every single day. My favorite place to smoke is right in front of the Bellagio fountain show. But recently, I’ve been smoking around those mariachi bands and dancing. I don’t care what the law says. I always smoke weed on the Las Vegas strip in public

Hey Jaycation, that camel law is a trip bro. Now I know for sure I can look a long freaking time and won't find any camels to ride. Got to go to Dubai for that. However, did you know in Virginia City (Storey County, NV) they have an annual camel race for residents and visitors alike.

Any law regulating free speech is unconstitutional. So if there's still a law on the books prohibiting swearing, it's because it's never enforced. The first time someone was cited, the law would be thrown out. I'm surprised you don't know that/didn't say anything about it.

They should change the law on drinking on the strip. People acted like a fool drunk on the strip. They should have law drink only by the building you brought that from and do not walk away from that sidewalk while drinking.
A big reason people go to Vegas is for the public drinking. You can be a drunk fool no matter where you finished your drink 😂😂
