Thank you for sharing your method of word, excellent video, excellent production qualities. I am about to do my first mitered end wedge, and this was extremely helpful.
EDIT: Completed the mitering on the tapered end wedge to perfection. It was the most demanding and tedious guitar work I have ever done. Using the loup on my headband was required, my BWB perflings were only .060" tall. A wider perfling would be better for this embellishment. The information provided in this series made that possible, very grateful Pablo.
Hello Pablo!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I just finished installing my first tapered end inlay with miter joint purfling. Thanks to your wonderful videos I managed to do a very good job.
I am very greatful.
Best wishes
Awesome Pablo! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing that with us. That was masterfully done. It was truly a beautiful thing to watch. You have inspired me to do better with my guitar build. Thank you.
For what it's worth, your camera person does a really good job! Clear and steady.
Thanks, I will let her know.
Very good videography indeed!
I think you've broken the record for world's largest cam clamp! Great video!!
Muy bien😁
At times in the close ups you forget how intricate this work is until you see a giant finger or two appear in the shot showing us how small the detail is he's working with.
perfection 👌
Thank you
Muito lindo trabalho, e que madeira é essa escura?
Hi Pablo! we cannot wait to buy your DVD instruction of building the classical guitar from scratch! When will your method go on sale?
Thank you, Pablo for your excellent presentation. Do you ever use the reflection of the layers of the purfling on the flat side of the chisel to help you visually align the cut at the desired angle? As an example, please see 30:24 in this video where you can see the reflection on the chisel shows a perfect 90* angle.
Yes, I do that as an initial help to get an approximate angle but it is only after positioning the piece in place that you can adjust the angle to fit properly as in this case there no right angles so you can not use the reflection in the chisel as a true guide, if this makes sense.
Buenas, una duda: lá tapa y el fondo por dentro deben ser lijados cn lija fina?
Sir please explain about the tools glue what are the need to making guitar
