This works very well...that's why he said get thread sealant at the beginning for your valve. It doesn't leak with that.. he just didnt put it on in the video..for the people complaining about it not working or leaking...🙄

Good video! The only change I'd make is to seat the valve about an inch up on the side of the bucket to avoid any sludge which might form over time on the bottom.

Where did you buy your waterers? They have a few styles but yours seem like the best over the ones with the valves inside that they peck. Also, how did you block the end?
I just bought some of these cups that you are showing. Do I leave a slight trickle at the valve and bucket to get constant supply. I am going to use them for my ducks as well and they guzzle not sip like a chook. They are bigger than the other types and don't have a little toggle like thing for the birds to try and use.

Maybe keep the camera at the lever point longer and prove to us that I'm wrong. I like my homemade 2 liter water system. It's cheap and I'm recycling. Good concept though.

If it’s crystal clean water I don’t see a build up of sludge. Little maintenance might still be required.

i had some cup that wont stop flowing, i added a marble for weight. i also use a shop vac or compressed air to clean the cups
They maybe missing the silicon from the adjusting screw

I filled a 4 inch piece of extra vinyl tubing with 2 inches of the same silicone I used to seal the stab fitting on the bucket.
Fold pipe over and cable tie flapped. Forms a seal and easy to extend when you want.... or put an end stop in.
