  • In this new series we'll show you how even the greatest ballet dancers and performers can have fun. Because Ballet is technique, discipline and training, but it's also joy! Many dancers tend to take themselves too seriously, but you don't need to do that to be great, right? ;)
    La Sylphide (James - A.Cojocaru, Sylphide - J.Kobborg, Panda - I.Vasiliev - (Ratmansky/Bournonville).

    Love it, ballet needs these little moments of fun and silliness.

    Great! Cojocaru and Kobborg are nailing this parody! La Sylphide should be also done by the Trocks...whereas en travestie is not so unusual in ballet, also Alina Cojocaru does a great job as James..teamworkers (;

    Yetta NUTHER superbly and comically danced piece! Johan Kobborg's pointe work was exemplary!

    haha remind me of my class end of semester show, it was wild with the reversed role and stuff. It was for our grade, but can't help making it silly for fun

    Music and dance is actually from Bright Stream of Shostakovich. You have to see Tsiskaridze in actual ballet, he was so funny

    Is it really only possible to produce in the ballet the humor that a man pulls a pointe shoe and runs awkwardly? Haven't we seen this a thousand times? Boring, unimaginative :-(
