I can't stand that rhetoric. Cows existed for thousands of years, so by their logic, today we shouldn't have an ozone at all. So we're making hot dogs out of these cows. That means we're reducing how many cows are "destroying" the ozone layer by cooking and eating them. The protester and the hot dog vendor should be natural allies in this sketch.
