The episode was fantastic! It's just a shame Phoebe didn't get to showcase her powers like this more often.
They skipped the part of gypsy custom. Offering things the dead may need for the journey to the afterlife. That custom is actually shared in multi cultures. I used to live in Peru and they used that hundreds of years ago; not anymore these days. As for the Evil Eye 🪬🧿, that’s a gypsy symbol to protect loved ones from evil spirits. Anything of any shapes with an eye 👁 in the middle is that.
The Egyptians did it as well, burying things with them that would be needed in the afterlife (journey & destination). But they also cut things out of these videos as well.

I'm sure they did in the episode. I'm from gypsy culture myself. I remember when they explained it and piper made a dry joke about needing a cracker in this life and asked phoebe would it be bad to take one. Phoebe says probably. I'm sure they did talk about it in this episode. I think this scene may have been cut short for CZcams promo. Unless this is what you mean. :-)
