This episode would unknowingly (at the time it was originally broadcast) provide a storyline that would give the show a means of continuing on after the sudden and abrupt "departure" of Shannen Doherty and paving the way for her replacement in the series, Rose McGowan. Looking back on this story, it was interesting that Prue would be the one to connect with the father of her half-sister that she never got to meet adding a poignancy to the events that would later unfold.
Did you actually watch the show? Season 1 was good. Not better than the original but good. The story the magic all of it. Actually watch it instead of listening to other people you’d be surprised. It started going down hill season 2 then Covid happened

@marcw5675 Yea this was before they showed Leo being able to orb other people, but in this same episode he orbs piper for the first time and says "I have to hold you" then they realized "oh wait, we can skip car scenes"

They explain later that because she wasn't hurt by evil that he can't heal her. But it's not really consistent later in the series
